4 Bedrooms, 3.5 Bathrooms, 6 Flat Screen TV's and 1 Unbelievable Staircase
Imagine a place in which you feel instantly at ease, a space with so many unique features that each glance reveals another artistic discovery.
This is Oneida Lodge North (OLN) at ArrowHead Pointe on Otsego Lake.
With rugged and distinctive architectural lines and a straightforward interior design, OLN offers a level of luxury and comfort not found elsewhere in the area. The focal point of this 3,200 square foot lodge is a masterfully designed, 3-story log staircase that winds around an ancient white pine tree. "Rooted" in the natural slate flooring of the Lake Level wet bar area, this hand-polished behemoth rises through the Main and Upper Levels and tops out 42-feet above; up against a bank of 4 electronically controlled sky lights. All the while, treads of half-logs balanced on a single spiral beam rotate up the 48" diameter trunk, protected by railings constructed from cedar and black birch twigs. The equally impressive floor to ceiling mirror reflects the art-turned-staircase, as well as the abundant natural light from the skylights above.
Stepping back from the stair railing, guests will appreciate the wide-open floor plan of the Main Level and take in the sweeping view of Otsego Lake through multiple sets of French Doors. A secondary focal point is the chef's kitchen, which was custom designed and built by a local Amish cabinetmaker from character cherry wood with maple details. Copper sinks and faucets, muted earth-tone granite counters, along with SubZero, Wolf and Azko appliances and an array of unusual touches add to the ambiance of the cathedral ceilinged space.
The Great Room houses a flat screen TV in front of a very comfortable and large seating arrangement. Nestled in the corner and flanked by 15-foot long walls of glass is the solid slab, mahogany dining table. Hanging above from a beam is a handcrafted stained-glass light of just-the-right-colors providing a soft glow against the naturally colored Douglas fir logs. Another leather sofa and pair of red leather chairs are placed about the wood-burning fireplace and provide an ideal space to read or simply catch a few winks.
The entire Upper Level has vaulted, wainscoted ceilings and showcases the hand peeled, post and beam frame. Here are two welcoming bedrooms...a king and a queen, both with walk-in closets and lake view balconies from which the ducks and geese can be heard making their riot, along with the soothing sounds of waves lapping at the beach. Both bedrooms have flat screen TV's and pairs of electronic skylights with screens and shades.
Down the hall and past the tree, step into the spa-like bathroom and indulge yourself in the deep, jetted soaking tub. The large shower area features 2 shower heads and a series of adjustable body spays; very relaxing!
On the Lake Level, the lucky guests staying here will discover two beautifully furnished queen bedroom suites; one features a marble walled bathroom and the other a granite bathroom, both with AHP Signature pedestal sinks and showers with polished pebble floors. And both of these bedrooms have flat screens tv's as well.
Next to the trunk of the huge tree is a wet bar and wine fridge. And nearby, the Family Room (with pullout queen sleeper with memory foam mattress) has lots of seating in front of yet another flat screen TV. Outside the French doors is a 30-foot long bluestone patio with a walkway that lead visitors down to the lake and The Boathouse.
Come on in and take a self-guided, fully immersive, 3D 360° Tour right now!
The Boathouse is a stunning 2-story log structure; it hugs the lake and provides exceptional spaces for relaxation, reading, gazing at the lake and for gathering with friends as the lake reflects the colors of the sky. It serves as the clubhouse for the enclave. Authentic folk art and antique and hand crafted furniture graces the Main Floor while an 80-year old birch bark canoe hangs suspended under a 12-foot long clear span skylight. In the adjacent side rooms, the wooden frame of a vintage kayak and an old canoe are tucked into the massive log rafters of wide-open, vaulted ceilings. 3 fireplaces and a pair of bathrooms are conveniently provided. Numerous French sliders open onto a wrap-around covered deck over-hanging the waters of Otsego; so clear you can watch the trout swim by!
Down the log spiral stairs and around the "coat-tree" (with it's authentic, colorful Navajo style coats hanging from the branches) to the Lake Level. A specially designed walk-behind birch bark bar is ideal for entertaining friends; twig bar stools and foosball table are just inside a wall of glass looking right out at the lake. Step through the French doors to the lakefront walkway, which connects the beach area to the boat dock.
Adjacent to The Boathouse is the heated pool (open May 15th- October 15th); raised up from the lake, its bluestone patio is a perfect place to bask in the sunshine and to watch boaters pass by. The landscape is mature, lush and dense with native trees, plantings and massive boulder retaining walls. Sitting on its own promontory a few feet from the edge of the lake is the gazebo. Constructed in British Columbia of massive cedar flared posts, trimmed out with birch details and lighted with a handmade chandelier, there is no better vantage point for lake gazing.
ArrowHead Pointe is a vacation retreat of 5 homes for discriminating families looking for the perfect home and location, on the area's most sought after lake, Otsego Lake. Bring your boat or rent one and keep it at our dock; 2 restaurants can be reached by boat and our lake is exceptionally clean and very much underutilized.
Fishing, swimming, sailing, kayaking and canoeing, tubing and skiing; all right from our beachfront.

Six of my college friends and I spent a weekend at this property and it was wonderful. The house is roomy, but also cozy. We had a great time.
Owner Response
Thank you for your review, Linda...it was a pleasure hosting you and your friends. And we hope you’ll consider a future visit as Preferred Guests! Only the best, Liz and Bill
Absolutely gorgeous property, and an easy drive into the hustle and bustle of downtown Cooperstown. The home was so beautiful, I would just sit and marvel at the craftsmanship and the serene lake view. The pool and boat house just added to the awesomeness of the property. The owner was extremely helpful and so easy to get in touch with when we had questions. I can't say enough great things about this home!
Owner Response
Kate! Such a nice review...we love when our guests truly enjoy themselves as you and your friends apparently did:) You were great guests and we hope to have the fortune of welcoming you back as Preferred Guests in the future! Liz and Bill
This is a great place to stay. We had baseball for the week in Dreams Park. It was about a 20 minute easy drive to get there. The house is great and the property is so nice!
Owner Response
Hey there Janis! Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts on Oneida Lodge North. We too love the drive along the edge of the lake and then down the hill to the lodge. It seems so remote...yet just 7 miles from the village:) We hope you’ll visit again as Preferred Guests! All the best, Liz and Bill
A lovely place to sit back and relax with friends. I’m sure in the summer it is much more hectic, but for us with the fire places and excellent kitchen it was just what we were looking for. The property is amazing. Well worth it.
Owner Response
Hello Peter, A quick thank you for your review...we're so glad you had the opportunity to unwind and catch up with your friends! Even though summer does get busy in Cooperstown, the lake is NEVER crowded:) Come back as Preferred Guests and check it out! Bill
My family stayed here over US Thanksgiving weekend. Everything about it exceeded our expectations. The house was large, spacious, and very clean. The kitchen was well stocked, so we didn't have to buy utensils or anything like that. Since it was a cold, snowy weekend, we didn't partake in the outdoor activities that you can enjoy in the summer. However, our house was very warm and cozy. The TVs all worked, the WiFi was good, and there were plenty of board games for us to use, too. The house was located about halfway down a somewhat steep hill, so we were concerned about being able to get back up it (because of ice). When we arrived, we bumped into one of the caretakers, and we mentioned this to him. We left the car at the top of the hill that day and went back out later, but when we came back , we saw that the caretaker had did a great job in de-icing the hill, which we hadn't asked him to do. Just an awesome gesture! Some guides and suggestions were provided of things to do and eat, which were helpful. Beyond that, the views are very scenic, too, of the lake. Nice and relaxing. I can't recommend this place enough!
Owner Response
Mike, Liz and I are always happy when our guests are happy:) Very glad you had the opportunity to see the home with fresh snow! Please come back as Preferred Guests in the spring or summer to enjoy all the fun that the lake has to offer. Best to you and your family, Bill
We stayed for a long weekend in Cooperstown and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was so comfortable and watching the snow fall over the lake was beautiful. Our kids loved the game room and we played lots of board games by the fire. Our host was very helpful and we would definitely recommend coming here.
Owner Response
Hi Sara and thank you for your great review:) As a youngster I used to really love the early season snowfall...and I'm happy to know the spirit lives on! We look forward to welcoming your family to another visit in the future as Preferred Guests! All the best, Liz and Bill
2nd Time here
This is our 2nd time here. The first time was about 8 years ago and we came with my in-laws and our two kids. Now, we came here for a surprise 60th BD party for my wife, for 3 days, with our now grown "kids" and their families. Beautiful, beautiful time we had and we also had the Chefs come in for a surprise dinner for her. Thank you for providing a beautiful setting in the 4-bedroom cabin.
We hated leaving. So Beautiful!! The house was even better than it looks in pictures. Plus the welcome guide they gave us was spot on about all the area attractions and places to eat!!!
Owner Response
We agree with you, Tom...Summer vacation on Otsego Lake is the BEST! Very glad you enjoyed your Cooperstown experience and we look forward to welcoming you back as Preferred Guests! Liz and Bill
We rented the house with 3 other sets parents who's children were participating in the Cooperstown Dreams Park experience. The house and grounds were beautiful, the kayaks and canoe where very nice additions to the experience; especially since the lake front of this home is very shallow and there was a lot of grass on the bottom of the lake that was freaky for the non-nature lovers. The laundry room, wireless LAN connectivity (cellular service in the area is spotty) and kitchen were very well stocked. It is a very nice place for a family visiting the lake and area. The boat house had lots of games and options. You won't be disappointed. Concerns I had were with house rules, specifically those built for Cooperstown Dream Park families. Renters are not allowed to have over 10 people stay the night (including ball players) and no more than 4 day guests (including ball players). And, renters will be checked up on. It was uncomfortable and unfamiliar for the professional executives and business owner that made up our group who typically rent this level of the house. Neither the children nor parents could include an adequate number of friends on the experience. If this is your first time with Cooperstown Dreams Park, there are times your son/daughter’s coach may want to send the team to the parents so they can have breaks and there is a good chance you will have your children out of the barracks Thursday night before the Friday departure. My suggestion, if you want to be social with other families or with more than 4 ball players while in Cooperstown, look at other listings.
Owner Response
Hi Donna and friends, we appreciate all feedback from our guests. To clarify your comments; all of our property listings state the maximum number of over night guests and day visitors. And our lease/rental agreement, which you had agreed to, includes the same information... as well as all follow up communications. Our goal is to provide guests with the absolute finest and most enjoyable lake front experience. This simply isn't possible if the property is overpopulated. By stating this info upfront, our guests don't face any surprises when they arrive. There are homes in the area which permit unlimited guests...this is when guests can face real surprises! :) All the best, Liz and Bill
Best property on the lake! Soothing water features, rustic natural wood paired with top of the line amenities, convent access to lake and use of water toys, gorgeous pool, and the boat house is an unbelievable added bonus you have to see! Fish or swim from the dock. Cook or grill at home or take all your meals at the Blue Mingo (also fabulous and close). Our stay was one we will not soon forget.
Owner Response
Hey there Martina, Thank you for the glowing review:). We are very happy that your family enjoyed their visit to Ctown and it’s time at the lake! Otsego really is a gem of a lake and having a lakeside pool and custom entertainment boathouse makes it even more unique and enjoyable. Come back this winter as preferred guests and see how spectacular our area looks covered in snow and go hiking on frozen Otsego Lake! Thanks again, Liz and Bill
It had everything a family would need or want...Lake, Pool, Boat House With Game Room, Canoe, Kayaks, etc.!! The kitchen was well supplied with utensils, small appliances, etc. It was clean and well-kept! Would recommend this home to anyone going to Cooperstown!!:)
Owner Response
Thank you, Leigh Ann for taking the time to share your review of Oneida Lodge North! We're very happy you enjoyed your stay and that you had perfect weather to take advantage of all the water activities:) We'd love to have your group visit again the next time you're in central New York! All the best, Liz and Bill
We had a fabulous vacation at the Uber-Luxe! We came for the Cooperstown tournament, but staying here made for an awesome vacation! The home was beautiful and clean. We enjoyed the pool and the lake views are amazing. We also used the provided canoes and rented a pontoon for a fun afternoon on the water. The owner Bill was great to work with and made sure our stay was perfect. You will not regret your decision to stay here! Jodi
Owner Response
Thanks for your input, Jodi! It was great meeting you and your friends! And we hope to see you back this way again in the future as Preferred Guests! Bill
The house was perfect and just how pictured online. The view was amazing all week! We were in town for a baseball tournament and it was only a 15 minute ride to Cooperstown. So much to do with the pool, game room, kayaking, etc.
Owner Response
Hey Tommy, thank you for your kinds words...we are always happy to hear from our guests. And we’re glad you enjoyed your visit to Cooperstown and your stay at Oneida Lodge North. Liz and Bill
The property is amazing and beautiful, only setback is that the cable/internet is a challenge. (Not that you go to the lake area for internet or cell phone usage.) You won't find a better space to spend time with a medium sized group of people. The kitchen, living room and dining areas are perfect for groups. We were very happy with the layout of the sleeping areas as well. The boat house was excellent. Although, we visited in the winter, it is obvious that this property would be a terrific place to stay in the summer as well.
Owner Response
Brian, Thanks so much for the great review, we are glad you enjoyed your visit. The TV issue was related to the cable company switching our service to all-digital, for which we now have the appropriate set top boxes. Our apologies for that inconvenience. And at the same time, we upgraded the internet to the highest speed available:) Thank you for being great guests and we hope you'll visit again as Preferred Guests, perhaps when the weather allows you to explore the lake and enjoy the pool! Liz and Bill
William Miller is an amazing, helpful gentlemen. I and my whole family spent the week of Thanksgiving here. Before we arrived, he helped us find a baby sitter and answered many many questions. When we arrived, he went above and beyond to be there for us. The home is amazing, very comfy and warm, the views... everything was perfect. Look forward to staying at the Oneida Lodge North again.
Owner Response
Hi Marcia, It's a pleasure to host families as nice as yours! I really enjoyed meeting you and a few of your children (and grand kids)...everyone seemed so relaxed and "at home"...such a treasure to celebrate Thanksgiving with the ones you love!

Thank you for sharing your home with us. I stayed here with my bridal party during our wedding. We got ready at the house and it was the most perfect setting. Thank you!
Owner Response
Hey Jenny, Liz and I are so happy your weekend was exciting, fun and successful! Come back for your First Anniversary as Preferred Guests!😃 Congrats one more time, The Millers
Absolutely stunning cabin with a million dollar view. Well maintained and everything you need is on site (coffee makers, irons, towels, dishes, etc.) Plenty of parking on site for guests and a quick drive to town...not that you’ll ever want to leave. We stayed in the cabin for 3 days for our wedding and had a wonderful and relaxing time with family. The process is a breeze and Bill is very responsive to any questions.
Owner Response
Kim, We are so glad that your wedding plans worked out so well:) We hope to welcome you back as Preferred Guests...perhaps for your One Year Anniversary! Congrats to you and Anthony!!
We had a small group stay here for a work Retreat (at this property and the one right next to it) and it was phenomenal. The craftsmanship of both houses and the boathouse was breathtaking and, at the same time, inviting. There were common spaces for our whole group meetings, breakout spaces for smaller meetings, spacious and beautiful bedrooms, a boathouse that must be seen to be believed, and an overall feeling of peace, quiet, and tranquility that made for the most productive Retreat we've had in over a decade. The owners are responsive and involved and I can't recommend these properties highly enough. Perfect for what we did. Perfect for a multi-family getaway. We felt lucky to have found this magical place.
Bill was friendly and knowledgeable and took great care of our families. The property exceeded every expectation. the three couples fit comfortably in the large house. The decor, furnishings, and overall quality were top notch. Access to the lake, pool, canoe, kayaks, and clubhouse were all great bonuses. We are already in the planning stages of our next trip and we will definitely be in touch with Bill for our return trip.
Owner Response
Hey Benj, thanks so much for your kind words. We're always happy when our guest enjoy their time in Cooperstown and at the lodge. We look forward to welcoming you back in the near future. Liz and Bill
our family returned for the third consecutive year to Oneida North. once again, Bill and his team provided excellent accommodations and service. we look forward to another trip again in 2017.
Owner Response
Your New Year's celebration getaway to Cooperstown has become a great tradition for your family! We look forward to seeing you at the end of 2017...it'll be here in a flash!!
Our family had a wonderful stay at the Oneida Lodge North. It was a winter wonderland on our arrival for a Thanksgiving stay. Our grandchildren enjoyed sleigh riding along with the grown ups. The fireplace was a nice place to warm up and spend time together, playing games and just to relax. The day after Thanksgiving we visited the Baseball Hall of Fame and the Farmers Museum. We also visited the shops on Main Street. The shop owners were so nice and friendly. We made many family memories on our vacation and hope to return again.
Owner Response
Upstate New York is full of wonderful little shops and friendly, authentic people who take time to welcome visitors! Thank you for sharing your experience!
We cannot put into words the beauty of this home. We truly could have spent an entire day looking at the detail. The house is only matched in beauty by the stunning views. The owners were more than helpful and answered questions in a matter of seconds. Cooperstown has something for everyone from hiking to breweries to the Baseball Hall of Fame! Highly recommend this property. Our only regret is we didn't stay longer! We will definitely be back!
Owner Response
Kara, your comments t are heart-warming! Liz and I welcome all reviews and we so love hearing from our visitors how they enjoyed the home and the setting on the lake! We hope to see you back in town soon!
The house is fabulous! It's beauty and comfort inside and out made it difficult to leave the property.
Owner Response
Your kind words are much appreciated. And we look forward to welcoming you back as a Preferred Guest!
House was beautiful! Comfortable furniture, kitchen well appointed, with eye catching lake views. A few minor issues; string lights in the kitchen didn't work nor did the light over dining room table (or could not find the correct switches, there are a lot of switches). Basement family room tv was missing cable remote. Kitchen had a wastebasket but needs separate recycling basket. These were very very minor items. Everything else was first class. The house is gorgeous. The property is very well maintained and the pool and lakefront dock are semi private and very relaxing. The views of Ostego Lake are wonderful. Overall a great home, perfect for a relaxing lakefront retreat. Would definitely repeat.
Owner Response
We very much appreciate our guests bringing even the smallest issues to our attention. And we are always happy to hear that our guests had a relaxing and enjoyable stay!
We rented 3 properties from Coopersown luxury for our wedding weekend and i'll share my email to the owners Bill and Liz after our stay to help summarize how we felt if you're considering renting one of their properties: Thanks soooooo much for letting us stay at you're homes. We had the most amazing weekend & of course, all the guests were blown away by the houses. You're properties are beautiful beyond words and your hospitality and accessibility has been incredibly impeccable and helpful. We really hope to continue to have this relationship with you and rent again next year. We loved swimming in the clearest lake we've ever seen & playing on the lake trampoline. As you know, the treehouse isn't the easiest place to find so thank you for taking the time to answer our guests calls late at night when they got turned around. This has been the most amazing weekend of our lives Thank you to you and your staff for making it happen.
Owner Response
Shanna, Thanks so much for your email. Cooperstown is fast becoming a true wedding destination. We often hear from our guests the same comments about Otsego Lake...so clean, so ... uncrowded! Staying "on the lake" in one of our handcrafted log homes brings another layer of interest and enjoyment to every wedding weekend! We home to welcome you back when you'll have time to relax and explore our region. Once again, BIG congrats:)
We had a great time at the well maintained Oneida Lodge and will definitely rent it or another one of your properties when we return to Cooperstown. The boathouse, kayaks, canoes, and the pool are great for the kids! It is close to all attractions in Cooperstown and has a great view of the lake. The property is best suited to sleep 8 people but can accommodate 10 people using a pull-out couch. The owner is great to deal with and the people he has maintaining the property are excellent.
Owner Response
Tom, Thank you for taking the time to provide your input and feedback. Many Dreams Park families find Oneida Lodge to be a great choice of accommodations...convenient to the Park and Cooperstown, yet it provides the family with a true mountain lake vacation experience...fishing, kayaking, swimming, boating... We look forward to welcoming you back! Bill
We stayed here while our son played at Cooperstown Dream Park. The home is very spacious with a view of the lake that is very nice. There were a few items that could have been repaired such as a light in the living room, but that is a minor blemish to such a nice home.
Owner Response
We love getting feedback from our guests. And we are quick to respond to any issues such as light bulbs which might need replacing or repair when we are given the chance. Thank you for your post-stay feedback and we hope to have you visit again so we can provide you with 5-Star service!!
THE PICTURES OF THIS PROPERTY DOES NOT DO IT JUSTICE
Owner Response
Hey there Wayne! Thanks for providing feedback on your recent stay at Oneida Lodge! I truly enjoyed meeting and speaking with you, even if briefly. And I look forward to welcoming you back as "Preferred Guests" on your next visit to Cooperstown.
We didn't want to leave!! From the breathtaking views, to the architecture details, this house has more details at every corner. Only an 18 minute drive to Cooperstown Dream Park too! We used the pool, lake, kayaks, canoes, the boathouse and even the gazebo! We will be contacting the owner in the future for our next Cooperstown stay. Thank you Bill!!!!
Owner Response
Hi Karena! Your group was a pleasure to host at the lodge. We meet so many nice people like you who all seem to appreciate the amenities at our property. The lake provides for a real interaction with nature, while the pool affords a more luxurious approach to cooling off:) We look forward to seeing you again as "Preferred Guests"!
Amazing house with an even more amazing view of the lake. The attention to detail on the design, construction, layout and furnishing is nothing less than spot on! Perfect house and location for anyone headed to Cooperstown for a baseball tournament, HOF weekend or just a family vacation. The owner is extremely helpful, responsive and a pleasure to do business with...Thanks
Owner Response
Thank you for your very kind words! I hope our paths cross again in the future. Bill
This trip to Arrowhead Point is a great family experience every year. Bill and his family take great care of the home. We look forward to returning for years to come.
Owner Response
Liz and I get so much satisfaction when our guests choose to become repeat visitors. There is much to see and do in our region and each season brings new opportunities. Of course, we have many guests who visit with ambitious plans for lots of activities...and then decide to spend a full weekend relaxing, enjoying the lodge and the amenities and never leave the property. And thats okay!!
I am speechless! Words will not be able to describe the beauty of this property... If you are looking for relaxation, lakeview, deck and private access to the lake, this is the place to be! It even has an outdoor heated pool... Talk about clean, decor and a picturesque view, this is it. The house has everything! Clothes Washer/Dryer, Dish washer, pots, pans, the works! Very high quality electronics! You will NEVER have to leave this property! I was extremly relax that my friends had to push me off the sofa/couch, to go outside and walk around... Hahaha.... Yes, if i had my way, i would have rented the place to myself :) Yes, the house/property is indeed a home-away from home!
Owner Response
In his Leatherstocking Tales, James Fenimore Cooper referred to Otsego Lake as The Glimmerglass...I like your description better...Glassy Blue Lake!! Our lake at times can be so perfectly flat that it nearly mirrors the sky and surrounding mountains making for surreal photography opportunities. We're so glad you and your friends enjoyed your stay and we look forward to welcoming you back...thanks for being great guests!
Despite the temperature barely going over 40° all weekend, we had an incredible time at this lodge. After staying at several places on VRBO (some good, some bad), I had to appreciate all the little things included in this house. From providing spices for cooking and a Keurig, to having a neat array of wood in the fireplace ready to go for us (with a starter log). The lodge is simply a perennial pleasure - had it been a bit warmer we'd have swam (though pool was closed, obviously) or even taken out the provided kayaks. The architecture of the lodge itself is beautiful and unique. From Oneida lodge, it was only a small stroll down to the pier, where there is a majestic gazebo, with benches to look out onto the lake and more. Inside the adjacent boat house is air hockey, foosball, and a few areas to simply lounge. Overall, Arrowhead Pointe is lush with details and quite literally a retreat from the hysteria of every day life. All of us being from NYC & Long Island loved spending the weekend in peaceful splendor w/ amenities. Liz and Bill Miller are truly class acts with exquisite taste and style. I'm really impressed by the welcoming, serene space they've created on a hill by the lake. Thanks again for everything - cheers!

Getting together with friends and family is always a fun occasion. Liz and I are fortunate to be able to share our lodge, and to help make the occasion even more memorable. Thanks for all of your compliments...the home is a culmination of much planning and lots of tediously handcrafted details. We welcome you and your group to a return visit any time! Thanks for being great guests!
The lodge itself was amazing and the location was beautiful. The sun came over the mountains and hit Lake Otsego and came right into the lodge. William was great and gave us tips on where to eat and even called halfway through our stay to check in. It was a wonderful time.
Owner Response
Sunrise over the lake is a beatific way to start the day. And as the sunsets over the hillside, often times the reflected colors on the surface of lake are just as amazing and make for a perfect time to celebrate another great day!
It was such a great experience to stay at Liz and Bill Miller's property. From the moment of contacting them in regards to our stay they were extremely accommodating and had fast responses. While staying there we used an at home masseuse service which was also a great experience. The property was absolutely beautiful from the inside and outside. We look forward to making this place a home away from home! Thank you again Bill and Liz for everything!
Owner Response
First, Thanks so much for taking the time to share your experience. Liz and I are so happy that you enjoyed your time here in Cooperstown. We believe quality customer service contributes just as much to a great stay as does a really nice home, and we truly appreciate your comment in that regard! We look forward to welcoming you back as Preferred Guests in the future! Liz and Bill
I stayed in this house with my family for my Cooperstown wedding weekend. It was unbelievable, and they all loved it so so much. It is beyond beautiful, and so comfortable. The morning of my wedding I even got to have a short Jacuzzi soak to relax and start my day:) Aside from how blown away we all were by the house, and property (my young niece and nephew enjoyed the pool), an added bonus was that the "getting ready" wedding day photos were stunning - because of the house! This house is huge and had so much space for all of us, even with the hectic elements of the big day. It is a few months later, and I miss this house. A final thought to add is that my whole family is either from Cooperstown or intimately familiar with it, and there is nothing like this house and Bill Miller's other properties (we also rented The Treehouse) anywhere. These are a welcome and amazing addition to the area.
Owner Response
Liz and I are so happy to have played even a small part in helping to make your wedding weekend an enjoyable and memorable one! Here's to many years of married bliss!
We were all so excited to spend the weekend in Cooperstown. We walked in to the most beautiful place. Not a detail missed. It was beyond spotless and the smell of all the wood was just amazing. We had big plans to tour the town. The house was so homey that we didn't want to leave. From the fire places, views, decks, boat house, gorgeous décor and a fully stocked kitchen, we just can not say enough about how wonderful our stay was. Hoping to make this an annual trip!
Owner Response
Thanks so much for your nice comments...your mention of the smell of wood really resonates with me; as you might imagine, during construction of our log homes the aroma of freshly cut wood heavily wafted through the spaces. I was curious how long that scent would last. Although diminished, it is present and to hear how that scent affected you warms my heart!! See you soon!
What a wonderful getaway for our whole family! Your lodge was the perfect setting for a perfect holiday weekend and things simply could not have been better. All of the members of our three generation family (ages 3 months to 60 years) happily join in the online praise of your property as well as how easy it was to work with you. We couldn't believe that you even ordered up three days of fabulous fall weather for us as well. Between the heated pool, spectacular boathouse, landscaped grounds, canoe/kayaks, and outstanding accomodations, nothing was lacking. Many many thanks for your help in making my 60th birthday weekend one to remember. Again Bill, things couldn't have been better and we will defnitiely be back.
Owner Response
Liz and I are so grateful to share our home with guests who take advantage of all the special opportunities found in our area...the lake, the scenery, even how quiet and still the evenings can be. And what we find amazing, the more time spent in the Cooperstown area, the more wonderful experiences can be found and realized. We look forward to your return visit to do more exploration of Otsego Lake and Otsego County!
My extended family and I stayed at this house at the end of September for my father-in-law's birthday celebration. He was amazed when he walked in and saw a tree in the middle of the house! This beautiful home has great views, plenty of space, and lots to do at the home, and in Cooperstown a short drive down the road. We enjoyed the the kayaks and canoe at the house, the Baseball Hall of Fame, Leatherstocking golf course, Farmer's Museum, Main Street in Cooperstown, and just hanging out at the house. There was so much to do, we didn't get to all of it in 3 nights. We will be back for sure!
Owner Response
Summer is a great time to visit Cooperstown. BUT, Autumn is when the crowds are gone, the evenings are cool and the trees begin to change colors. And what a great place to celebrate a birthday! More and more families are learning about vacation home rentals and how much better they are for family gatherings and celebrations than renting multiple rooms at a hotel or motel. We look forward to welcoming your family!
We stayed at the Tree House during our trip to Cooperstown for my son's baseball tournament at Dreams Park. The spacious, welcoming home was perfect for our group of parents and younger siblings. We had everything we needed to enjoy great meals, swims in the lake, and moments for relaxation between baseball games. We also leased the Bird's Nest which was a perfect extension. The home lived up to all the hype you are reading and MORE! What a gem! We plan to return in a few years when my younger son's team comes to the tournament.
Owner Response
Thank you for your review...our team tries very hard to keep the properties in the best possible condition. Liz and I are fortunate to own and manage so many great homes on and near the lake. It's rewarding to hear from our guests how much they appreciate our efforts!! Thank you again.
The house is amazing! We stayed here while our sons played at Cooperstown Dreams Park and it was the best decision we could have ever made. We shared the home with 2 other families and it was so comfortable with 4 bedrooms and 3 1/2 bathrooms - everyone had their privacy. The kitchen and living areas are tremendous as well as the gorgeous deck overlooking the lake, pool and boathouse. We swam in the pool, jumped in the lake, kayaked, and fished. It was absolutely one of the most memorable trips our families have had.
Owner Response
Our Numero Uno goal is to help visitors fully enjoy their time in Cooperstown and at our homes. We are very grateful to our guests who share there experiences!
We stayed at the Onieda Lodge North, and had an amazing week. The home was very comfortable and well-kept, and the log-cabin architecture is really special. The kids spent many hours swimming in the lake and pool, and then we could unwind for a relaxing family dinner overlooking the lake and even top it off by roasting marshmallows over the camp fire. Great house, great spot on the lake - I highly recccomend it.
Owner Response
We appreciate your recognition of the architecture...so much time was invested to create a lodge-type environment that would be interesting, comfortable and functional. Hope to see you again!
We stayed at the Oneida North Lodge in July for a week while our son played baseball at the Dreams Park. This was a terrific investment if you plan to make the tournament your family summer vacation. The home is incredible and sits on a beautiful and very large lake. While it may not be the closest house to the Dreams Park (about a 20 minute commute) it is certainly has the most to offer. You can see the pictures on the Cooperstown Luxury website. Yes, the house looks exactly like that. Incredible. We had other children with us so the pool was one of the greatest amenities. The house is 3 levels so if you share it with another family you can enjoy some privacy as well. We did not get to use the boathouse that much because of all of the baseball and other wonderful things to do in Cooperstown but it is certainly a terrific bonus. I would recommend staying here if you would like to be the envy of the entire team. You will not regret it.
Owner Response
Thank you for your kind words about our home! We're thankful you enjoyed your time and hope you'll be able to revisit with the sole purpose of enjoying all that Cooperstown (and our property) has to offer.
What a beautiful place to spend the week! We had a wonderful experience at Cooperstown DreamsPark, much of which is credited to our lovely accommodations. After an enjoyable, but often long, day at the ballpark, we relished unwinding on the back porch overlooking the beautiful lake. The kids were able to swim and fish while the parents and grandparents visited and everyone was happy! Liz and Bill were very kind to bring a King size bed into the master bedroom for the grandparents who were thrilled! It took us about 25 minutes to get to the park and about 15 minutes to get to the nearest grocery store. The Blue Mingo (hope I'm spelling that correctly)restaurant right on the lake is less than 2 miles away. It had a wonderful menu and a beautiful setting with everything from fabulous gourmet burgers to a delicious beet salad and truly nice crab cakes (not bready…hallelujah!). All in all, we had a wonderful week which exceeded my Cooperstown expectations. Thank you Bill and Liz!

Memories are what make our lives special. For children, having the freedom to explore the lake shore, dig for worms and do a little fishing, watch the ducks guide their ducklings along the waters edge, hang out on the swim float...these are memories for a lifetime!
The home was absolutely beautiful - well appointed on the inside and stunning from the outside. The views were fantastic and the amenities were great. If you love the outdoors, this is a great place that can accommodate multiple families and guests comfortably. There was a ton to do with the lake and the pool and common pool house. Just a short drive into town and nearby golf.
Owner Response
Outdoor activities! Its great to hear you enjoyed the wide range of activities...the lake by itself can keep the family busy non stop. Add in the museums, opera, shops and great restaurants and you have yourselves a great vacation destination!
Just wanted to thank you for a wonderful stay at your lake home, it was beautiful and we all had such a great time. Stagecoach was a big hit, we went every day. We also tried Mel’s at 22 which was fantastic food and a really great atmosphere and Toscana, a little further up the main street, very small but exceptional food and service with a smile. All in all we really enjoyed seeing some of the state we hadn’t done before.
Owner Response
Thanks for sharing a bit about your Cooperstown experience. Over the past few years our village has seen a few new great restaurants join our list of eateries and we 're glad you enjoyed visiting them. The central NY region/Cooperstown area has so much to offer...lots of "baseball folks" are pleasantly surprised how much more there is to Cooperstown than baseball! We hope to see you back in town sampling some of our other attractions such as the art museum, opera and of course, Otsego Lake!
We stayed at Oneida North for an early Spring weekend. There was so much to do and see and the view of the half frozen lake was spectacular! The log house is spacious and very well equipped. The restaurants in Cooperstown are excellent and we highly recommend visiting the Ommegang brewery and of course the Baseball Hall of Fame. We think that a Summertime visit is next.
Owner Response
Visits to Cooperstown during the non-summer seasons allow guests to experience our town without the crowds. Restaurant reservations are easier to come by and in general, the entire town is more relaxed...even the local residents are less stressed. Of course, even with the crowds, summer is an excellent time to see the sights and take in a game or two of baseball at Doubleday Field and to enjoy our wide range of recreational options...many of which focus on our awesome Lake Otsego...Try every season in Cooperstown and see which you like the best!!
We came for a weekend to celebrate my father in law's birthday. It was perfect-- luxurious, breathtakingly beautiful, spacious and very comfortble for our group, which ranged from 1 1/2 to 70 years old. We loved the bright open rooms, the fireplaces, the view from the deck, the gourmet kitchen and all the unique wood details. It was beautiful and cozy, surrounded by snow and the frozen lake. My kids loved discovering the pool house-- complete with fusball and air hockey, plus a couple more sitting rooms and fireplaces. I can't recommend this house more highly-- it's one of a kind, and we will definitely be back!
This home is everything you could expect and more. The pictures on the website are beautiful but when you open the doors to this magnificent home, you would not believe your eyes! This is not just a log home ,this is a log home mansion! Everything we needed was there to enjoy on a snowy weekend next to the fireplace, cooking our meals and sitting looking at the spectacular view. We had so much to do in town even with it being winter! The owner suggested the sports center and my girls had a blast. We could've used a few more days of this piece of heaven. Thank you to the owners for allowing us to use their wonderful paradise! Everything was as they said it would be and more! I will refer you to many and my family will be back to enjoy!
"Thank you again for the use of your lake house. What a magnificent place! Everything was perfect and it was a weekend never to be forgotten. It was very generous of you to make such a donation. "
Owner Response
We're delighted to share our homes with visitors to our area and are happy to help local charities in their fundraising efforts. The proverbial win-win! We're glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you'll revisit when the ice is off of the lake so you can explore it by kayak!
Another fabulous stay. This makes 5 times for my wife and I.... and every time we return it is like coming home. As we sat by the warm fire and radiant heat, we hardly noticed the snow and -27 wind chills outside. Arrowhead Pointe always has a way making us forget the stresses of life and remember what truly matters. Our visits are always special. This place is special. A reminder to take time for each other. To laugh, to love and to be grateful for our lives. Just something Oneida and Cayuga helps us rediscover each year. Our wish is that everyone can stay and experience these magnificent lodges like we do...with an open heart, a child like curiosity and a deep respect for the land that was immortalized to create them. Our sincere gratitude to Bill and his wife for their generosity and for sharing this treasure again with us. See you next year....we can't wait.
My family and I had the best Christmas at this wonderful mini resort (close to skiing). The log home is over the top spectacular with all top of the line amenities. To my surprise, we were told that we also had the use of the common house built directly on the lake. This again, Over the top... With it's own game room and spectacular views. Words cannot express how beautiful this place really is. I myself, as a builder of high end homes really appreciated the craftsmanship and could not stop looking around gathering ideas for my next home. I would, and have recommended it already to family and friends. Bill (owner) is extremely accommodating and he actually called me a few times to see if he could do anything else for us. (like he didn't do enough) The house was stocked with everything you can think of including fire wood stacked right outside your door step.

Christmas Celebration with family...That's the BEST! And to spend that special time in a cool, handcrafted lodge is icing on the cake. We're always glad that our guests enjoy their time in Cooperstown and their stay at our home. We are happy to share our knowledge of the area and to provide any assistance to help make our guest's stay as memorable as possible.
Beautiful log cabin!!! Great place to go with a couple families. Top of the everything! Wolf stove!!
Owner Response
Vacation homes are such a great value compared to hotels and motels. With full kitchens for meal preparations and various family rooms and great rooms, our homes provide space for multiple families to enjoy. Invite your closest friends to a luxury getaway today!!
If you are looking for the most luxurious accommodations in Cooperstown you've come to the right place! We rented Oneida along with the Treehouse, Bird's Nest and Cayuga to accommodate our families and the wedding party for our daughter's wedding in Cooperstown. This home is absolutely beautiful with all the comforts of home and then some! Bill (the owner) is great to work with and was always available to provide any assistance we needed. We can't say enough how happy we were to find such beautiful homes for our daughter's special day. We can't wait to return!
Owner Response
We are simply grateful to have done our part to help you so thoroughly enjoy such a special day!
8 of us recently spent a weekend here and the accommodations were excellent. From the moment we pulled in all of us fell in love with the place. The only downside was we did not spend enough time enjoying the property. It was a weekend to tour some wineries and breweries- which was fun in itself. I would highly recommend this property to all who are interested in spending some time in a beautiful part of the state
Owner Response
Our lodge has hosted many gatherings of friends and we often hear the same sentiment..."we wish we could have spent more time in the home"! The warmth and ambiance is special and the home does encourage relaxation and discussion...all of which helps explain the number of return guests each year!
The log house is magnificent, rooms spacious, kitchen efficient, open floor plan perfect. We were there in October and the foliage views were fantastic. Outdoor space is great - little porches off the house perfect for reading, grassy spaces, easy walk down to the lake and pool area. Plenty for children or grandchildren to do at the Boathouse. I would come again for sure!
Owner Response
The Boathouse is one of those exceptional places few people get to experience. Its immediacy to the lake provides sights and sounds that overflow the senses...the lapping of the waves and their reflective light dancing through the interior...looking down into the clear water and watching fish go about their business...the smell of the fresh water... Plan a trip to Cooperstown and experience the exceptional!
What a great place to spend quality time with your family and get away from the hustle! Bill and Liz were so attentive to every detail even sending us local activities that we're going on in the area so that we get the best out of our weekend. We will def be returning to this amazing place! Thanks bill and Liz !
Owner Response
We are so thankful to receive such generous compliments! Liz and I really do get pleasure from helping our visitors enjoy Cooperstown and all that it offers. And we'll do the same for you!
We were in town for a baseball tournament at Cooperstown Dreams Park and were fortunate to stay in this amazing property! From the minute we inquired about the property to the day of departure Bill and his staff were fantastic! The photos of the home do not do it justice, what an amazing experience to stay in such a wonderful home. We definitely plan to make another trip in the future and would recommend this home to anyone! This is a "DO NOT MISS" if you are planning to stay in Cooperstown!
Owner Response
For families who wish to really enjoy Cooperstown during the warm months, spending time in, on and around our great lake is an absolute must! We are blessed to have one of the cleanest and most well managed lakes in the northeast...very clean and clear water and very few boats. Stay at one of our lodges and choose between the pool, the lake, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, swimming...or maybe just relaxing!
Thank YOU so much for your hospitality! We loved every moment at the house and miss it already. We only wish that we had more time to spend there. Unfortunately, baseball got in the way. :) We stayed at the "resort" while our sons were playing at the Cooperstown Dreams Park baseball complex. The home was exactly as described in the listing…"Uber-luxe" and it far exceeded any expectations that we had upon arrival. Every detail on the home's interior was impeccable. The serenity of the lakefront home was exactly what we were looking for as a retreat from the busy baseball fields. The boathouse and available kayaks and canoe allowed our other children (and their parents…) the opportunity to enjoy a vacation away from the park. We will definitely spread the word to friends about what a luxurious retreat it is and hope to return soon.
Owner Response
Some families come to Cooperstown to watch their sons compete at one of the local baseball camps. Our homes provide a really great respite from the hot sun and dusty camps. Reserve one of our lodges for your Cooperstown week and enjoy the pool, the lake, kayaks, canoe, fishing, boating...and maybe even find some time to visit the ball fields!!
Bill, we had a great time and loved your home. It was well stocked, organized and clean. Everything was as pictured on the site. The drive back and forth to the park took about 25 mins each way but it was so nice to come back and play at the lake in between games. We will be back in two years for our middle son so we will be in touch when we know our dates. Thanks again for all your help, you were great to work with.”

We believe timely and clear communication is a key to a successful rental transaction. And of course, great lodges and homes helps the process, too! Give us a try...Book a stay today!
We had an awesome time at the Onieda Lodge. When we arrived everything was as pictured and promised. We traveled to the area for a baseball tournament at Dream's Park. It was close enough to the park so we could come back and enjoy the lake in between games. My husband and I traveled with both sets of our parents and two of our children and there was plenty of room in the house. Bill was very helpful when we had any questions. We plan to return in a few years when our middle son has his turn at Dream's Park.

We love hosting multi-generational families. Our homes are sophisticated, yet youngster friendly at the same time. And our town and surrounding area offers lots of things to see, do and enjoy for everyone! Bring your family to Cooperstown and stay in one of our great homes...Book Today!
My golf buddies and myself (8 in all) are always looking for great accommodations, and we certainly found them in The Oneida Lodge. The interiors are exceptional in their details. The open floor plan allows for great views of Lake Otsego and spaces that permit easy entertaining for a large group. Leatherstocking Golf Course was a picturesque 15 minute ride from our place and the course was outstanding. It was a little cool for the pool, but we took advantage of the on site kayaks. It's when you are on the lake that you truly appreciate what thought went into the planning of this complex. Owner Bill could not have been nicer to deal with. To quote MacArthur, "I shall return", but I'm coming back with the family next time.
Owner Response
Too many things to do to pack into a few days...one of the reasons we have so many returning guests. Start your new tradition today...book one of our luxury lodges and start exploring!
We needed a place to stay that would be large enough for 10 guys. This was definitely the place! The property was absolutely breathtaking . We had so many things to do at the lodge. From kayaking, fishing, playing cards, swimming, and just sitting a relaxing. We definitely would like to rent this property again and would recommend anyone else to stay here as well. You won't regret it at all! The owner bill was very kind and prompt with giving all information that was needed for our stay. Thanks again Bill!

To many baseball fans, Springtime is synonymous with Opening Day. Where better to celebrate the kick-off of the new season than in Cooperstown, New York? Choose one of our really awesome lodges, invite your best friends and plan to spend a few days watching a couple of World Series games on our giant flat screens! Make your reservations soon...play-offs will be here before you know it!
Thank you Bill and Liz for sharing your home with us. We had a very nice weekend stay at your cabin with our good friends. Bill you were very helpful in every way with boat rentals to great places to go and where to eat. We enjoyed having the pool right there by the lake and kayaking was very popular with our group. The men really enjoyed golfing at Leatherstocking Gof Course. Our two families would love to visit your place in the near future.
Owner Response
Leatherstocking Golf Course and Otsego Golf Club are two of the local courses and both are located along the edge of the lake. Spring and Fall are great times to play a few rounds and take in the lake vistas!
He home was beautiful and far exceeded our exlections. Well built, clean and the staff very attentive to our needs. Will be back.
Owner Response
So many people visit Cooperstown during the summer months and don't realize how spectacularly beautiful central New York is when covered in snow. Our handcrafted lodges lend themselves very well to winter getaways...wide open lake views over the frozen ice from the warmth and comfort of a great home with wood burning fireplaces and radiant heated floors. Come on up and make a snowman (or snow-woman)!!
What an incredible place! My wife, four year old daughter and I spent a few days at Oneida Lodge and loved every minute of it. The incredible craftsmanship and attention to detail in every fixture, room and aspect of the home complements its incredible location on the lake. Coffee on the upper deck as the sun rises over the lake is the ultimate way of relaxing and appreciating the beautiful surroundings. The heated pool and boat house added to the experience. We swam every afternoon of our visit in September after first spending the mornings exploring the wonderful town of Cooperstown and the surrounding areas. Lots to do. We found a few neat, low-key restaurants where the food was excellent and the people were so friendly. A short charter boat trip was a perfect way of experiencing the beauty of the lake. The owners are very friendly and accessible. If you are thinking of a place to spend a few days or a week connecting with family, friends or just relaxing away from the stress of your normal life; this is the place to be!
My stay was Fabulous!!!! I went for my 40th birthday with 10 ladies....we LOVED the home from the time we pulled up. When you open the doors...your in total WOW of the home, decor, views and architect. There's no other words then AMAZING!!! Everything is WOOD!!! From the kitchen, to the two sided living room, the dining room wood table overlooking the lake, the stunning tree staircase, the boathouse, the bathrooms...I can just go on and on. You have to see it to beleive it!!! I also recommend Renitta...the massage therapist. She's incredible!!!!! I've had many massages at 5 star hotels/resorts in the tri state area... and Renitta is the BEST!!!! Sorry Bogata...Crystal Springs Resort...Waters Edge.... Mohegan Sun...Nemacolin. There's only three minor issue we had...the chairs at the island in the kitchen are to low...there for the dining room table. I recommend they upgrade to high stools. The other issue was the queen beds are not suitable for this type of home...its such a GRAND rental property that they should at least upgrade to king beds in the two upstairs master bedrooms. Lastly...is not having a dvd player in the great room (upstairs living room). There's one in the downstairs family room but all the entertaining is primarly done upstairs. Besides that.....this home is a 5 star resort of your own. We loved it!!!!! The owner Bill is a GEM....kind, accomodating, genorous, etc. We are already planning a trip back this winter. I've told all my family and friends...if you want to experience a home on the lake...there's no other like Arrowhead Pointe. Thank you Bill...you made my birthday special!!!
Owner Response
Wow! We love to hear that word from our guests! We also love to get constructive reviews...we are already in the process of having custom bar stools crafted for the kitchen and will be adding another dvd player to the lodge. Visit our lodge and enjoy in-home massage therapy and the services of a private chef...LUXURY all the way!
If you are looking for the best place to stay in the Cooperstown area, this is it! The first thing you notice when you arrive is how beautifully landscaped the property is. Once inside, everyone in my party commented on the beauty of the wood and the warmth of the surroundings. The home is nicely decorated and the kitchen has top of the line appliances. It sits right on the lake and the views from both inside and from the outside decks were amazing. The owner/builder obviously has an eye for detail because everywhere you look there are handmade pieces, like the bathroom pedestal sinks and various tables. We visited in October and the pool was heated and it was warm enough to swim! If you stay at this property, you can use the Boathouse that sits right on the water. It is like a clubhouse and it's near the pool too. The wallpaper inside the boathouse is made of real birch bark - it was awesome. Some of our party used the kayaks available with the rental. The owner, Bill was helpful with all sorts of recommendations. There was a lot to do in Cooperstown besides the obvious baseball attractions. We visited the Art Museum and a new Vodka Distillery and went for a hike at Glimmerglass State Park. Plenty of restaurants too. We will definitely be back next year to spend more time in this beautiful well maintained home and this charming town!

The creation of ArrowHead Pointe on Otsego Lake was a labor of love for me...several years of planning followed by another 4 years of construction...myriad details concerning materials, designs, furnishings, access, amenities...all selected to produce a one-of-a-kind lakeside retreat. My wife and I are thrilled to share our homes at CooperstownLuxury with families and groups looking to for accommodations that are more of an "experience" than a place to simply stay. Call us today and arrange an incredible experience all of your own! Bill M. (Owner)
This house is amazing and the owners are attentive and helpful. I had looked at many places to stay in the area, but this home can become an important feature of a trip to Cooperstown -- not just a place to sleep -- the home is a destination itself. We actually wanted to eat dinners in so we could spend more time and relax at this beautiful home. The heated pool was an added bonus in the early fall.
Owner Response
Oneida Lodge North...a destination vacation lodge: a home which evokes a sense of peace, artistry and inspiration (not to mention a great place to relax, too!). What a great compliment...thank you! Although there is much to see and do in the rolling hills of central NY, its perfectly understandable that some guests may choose to never leave the lodge :)
My family and I just got back from a wonderful vacation. The house was absolutely beautiful! My kids had a blast and are already asking about going next year!
Owner Response
Ahhh, to be a kid on summer vacation at the lake! It doesn't get any better than that! Fishing, swimming, boating, hanging with friends and knowing how grand life is! Come stay at one of retreats and recall how grand life can be!
Thank you for sharing your wonderful property. We had an amazing trip and cannot wait to get back. The only downside was not being able to spend more time on the lake and at your property!
Owner Response
None of us have enough "time" to see and experience all that we want to. And this can be true for the families that come to Cooperstown for baseball and run out of time to really enjoy our property and the lake. Its not unusual for guests to return to one of homes for the sole purpose of exploring and indulging in the area's beauty and cultural offerings. We are always happy to help guests plan their vacation to ensure they get a balanced Cooperstown experience!
Beautiful home for a family vacation. Pool and boathouse were very convienent and fun for the kids and adults alike. The hill was a little steep but Bill was very helpful and thoughtful in allowing us to drive my 89 yr old grandma down to the pool so she could watch her great grandchildren swim and see the beautiful boathose that everyone was talking about! The hardest part was keeping our visitors to a minimum because everyone wanted to come look at the house once they heard how beautiful it was.
Owner Response
Otsego Lake is one of the cleanest and deepest lakes in the northeastern part of the US. It is a glacially formed lake and is surrounded by thickly forested hills/mountains. It is this mountain lake setting that so beautifully sets the area apart. The Boathouse is set right at the edge of the water...actually overhanging the lake. The property slopes upward to the lodges and in addition to the thick stone steps and pathway, we also provide an easily navigable driveway to enable everyone to have access to the pool, the lake front and The Boathouse. The fishing is superb, the water is unbelievably clear, and boat traffic is almost non-existent! Come dip your toes in Otsego Lake or choose our heated lakeside pool!
The house was beautiful. My family and I had a great time. The additional amenities on top of the spectacular house, such as the pool/boathouse/dock, made it even more enjoyable. The lake is perfect as well. Lots of other fun family stuff to do in the area too. I highly recommend it!
Owner Response
Cooperstown and the surrounding hamlets provide plenty to see and do year round. The lake certainly is the focal point during the warmer months featuring great fishing, kayaking, canoeing, power boating and sailing. The Opera is in full swing as well as several local playhouses. The Pumpkin Festival is in the Fall and the spectacular fall colors provide the wonderful back drop to a fun-filled weekend. The winter months are perfect for all kinds of outdoor activities...from skiing and cross country skiing, ice fishing, snowshoeing and ice skating, even snow tubing at our state park, and indoor activities such as our great museums, The Clark Sports Center and Brewery Ommegang. Golf, tennis, hiking, biking, swimming, running, snowmobiling, whatever you call it...you can do it in, near or around Cooperstown!
Our week at the Arrowhead property was excellent. Three families with kids ranging from 5-15. Each family had a son playing at the Cooperstown Dreams Park and a lot of time was spent there. The drive to and from the park was pleasant with nice attractions along the way. The house is a nice as the pictures suggest. Well stocked with plenty of room right on the lake. We all enjoyed swimming in the lake and using the kayaks and canoe. The pool is nice and the boathouse was beautiful. We grilled most nights. I brought my bike and the lake provides a nice 25 mile loop over rolling hills and through downtown Cooperstown. Some of the other families that visited were blown away at how nice the property is. There are a lot of things to do and places to see that unfortunately we did not have time to enjoy. It is a great place to unwind after a day at the park. I would definitely recommend this to any family traveling to Cooperstown for a week.

Time is a luxury we all take for granted... and none of us have enough of it! Thats why we believe "vacation time" is something to be cherished and highly valued! It presents the opportunity to see new things and places, dine in new restaurants and explore museums and shops. But most importantly, vacation time allows families to connect and to enjoy each other's company away from the "noise" of regular life. Our homes set the stage with wonderful interior and exterior design elements...our guests supply the magic!
This house was absolutely amazing! Everyone enjoyed it, kids and adults! So much to do at house! Great location to everything. This house far exceeded our expectations and we can't wait to go back again!!!!!
The pictures don't do this house justice - you have to see it to believe it! We found ourselves rushing home from Dreams Park so we could enjoy the house, the pool, the boathouse, the lake, and the beautiful views. The owner, Bill, was great and Ken, the handyman, was incredibly helpful with anything we needed. We can't wait to go back!

Summer vacations at the lake (especially a lake as clean and uncrowded as Otsego) can be very special for families. Our retreats, with their unique designs, views and access to the water provide the perfect backdrop for all types of fun activities, relaxation, adventure and cultural excursions. These same lodges offer a different experience when the snow flies and the lake freezes. Skiing, skating, tubing, hot chocolate and a great book in front of a warm fire combine to relax, rejuvenate and inspire. Whatever season, whatever the reason...plan your exceptional Cooperstown vacation today!
Our week in Cooperstown was the ultimate baseball experience and our stay in this amazing lake house was everything you could ask for and more. Every detail is exactly the way it is described - these Houses are simply amazing! The property is breath taking, very well maintained and a short 15/20 min drive to the Dreams Park. We had siblings with us that ranged in age from 6-15 who had a great time at the lake, boat house and pool. The restaurants in the area are extremely accommodating to large groups and the shops and museums are perfect things to do with any down time. There is no better place to stay in Cooperstown! Thanks Bill!

Because of the sheer number of visitors to the Cooperstown area every summer, the secret about "America's Most Perfect Village" is spreading and becoming more well known! Our lake front homes are designed to allow families and groups to unwind and relax, and to experience lake front living in handcrafted luxury homes. Nothing better than a super-cool lodge, located on a clean and beautiful lake, just minutes from a world-class destination town!
Our stay at The Treehouse was amazing! The home is gorgeous, spacious, and so comfortable. Every detail is accounted for to make your stay very relaxing & fun! It was one of our most memorable vacations ever, and when we come back with our other son, we will rent this house!

Our list of repeat visitors grows every year! We are grateful that our guests appreciate and enjoy our lake homes! There are many hotels, motels, B&B's and other vacation homes in the area to choose from. So when guests make the decision to stay at one of our properties, we believe it is our responsibility to provide them with an outstanding vacation experience. Repeat visitors and referrals help us know we are on the right track!
The home was even better than the pictures. The owners were fabulous to work with and I would highly recommend this home and owner. I would not stay any place else if I am ever in Cooperstown again. Everything exceeded my expectations.

We truly appreciate receiving feedback from our guests; it helps us identify shortcomings and also lets us know we are providing a great vacation experience. Our homes are well designed and outfitted...but that is only one aspect of the overall experience. We believe in providing accurate and prompt replies (email, text or via phone) from the initial inquiry stage right through the vacation. And to helping our guests get full enjoyment of their visit to Cooperstown!
Priceless!! I walked away feeling like I had become part of one of Norman Rockwell's paintings! The property is absolutely beautiful and not a detail was missed in this one of a kind house. It comfortably accomodated 4 families. The kayak's & canoe were used on a daily basis as well as the pool. There was nothing more peaceful than to wake early and read in the boat house amongst the quiet of the sunrise. This was one of the best vacations we have taken in years!! We will definitely return in 3 years when our youngest heads to Coopertown!

As owners/managers of a half dozen Cooperstown vacation properties, we enjoy meeting lots of great new guests every week during the summer. We appreciate the opportunity to help those same great people get all they can out of their Cooperstown vacation. And when our guests submit a review beginning with the word "Priceless"... well, thats simply priceless!!
Except for freezing rain, which did not allow us to enjoy the lake or outside but no fault of the house. The house is very large and beautiful. We had just our small family but the main level is well designed for groups. Pictures are true to interior of this lovely home.

Fortunately, the Cooperstown area has lots of alternative activities when the weather fails to cooperate! In addition to the fantastic, world-class museums, we have a number of great art studios, lots of restaurants, wineries and breweries for tasting tours. The Clark Sports Center is a destination unto itself and guests can easily spend the better part of a day here. Opera, playhouses, caves, concerts...so much to do on those rainy days :)
Wow !! What a great house for any type of getaway. The location is perfectly situated on a beautiful lake. This home is very spacious for a couple of families to chip in on for a week for Cooperstown little league world series, like we did. The owner was very easy to get a hold of while our stay The only thing that was a hit or miss was cell service and Internet connection, but hey if you have great time and great accommodations you can live without that at the home Roll Thunder. Situated at the north end of Otsego Lake, one of NY State's finest and cleanest, guests definitely experience the quiet and solitude of being outside the main tourist area. Yet, Cooperstown is just a beautiful 7 mile ride away along the west shore of the lake. Located in central NY, amongst the rolling hillsides, cell service in and around Cooperstown is less than perfect. We provide free unlimited telephone service and a full cable television package on 6 flat screens along with unlimited internet and wifi, too!
We had the best vacation possible when we stayed at the uber-luxe lakefront home the week of June 28, 2013. We had been planning this vacation for a couple years and could not have been in a better place. The owner and the maintenance people where attentive and helpful just making us acquainted with the property. Not only is it the most beautiful property in Cooperstown it was close enough to enjoy the baseball and quite enough to enjoy the lake and family. Mingo's is just down the the road and definitely a must see. There are so many side trips to take and your not to far from Albany if you need an airport. even with all the rain it was beautiful. The photos and comments don't do justice to the house. We are already talking about another trp.

Regardless of the time of year, there are always places to visit and things to see and do in and around Cooperstown! Take The Beverage Tour, visit the museums, swim in or ice skate on our spectacular lake. Fall, Summer, or Winter...taste the specialties of the restaurants in the surrounding hamlets and shop the quaint stores. We even have some baseball souvenir shops in town!
We had a great stay, weather could have been better. We were able to swim only once, but it was a beautiful setting to watch the rain drops and some great family time.

The Cooperstown area is rich in cultural activities which can be a great way to spend those rainy days. Of course, The Baseball Hall of Fame is high on many bucket-lists, but The Farmers museum is ideal for families...it is a living museum showcasing life as it was during the 1800's (complete with "citizens" in period costume, animals, candy shop, etc. Likewise, The Fenimore Art Museum is home to a world-class collection of well know paintings as well as The Thaw Collection of American Indian art. For active guests, check out the Clark Sports Center for basketball, indoor fitness track, pool, ropes challenge course, bowling...something for everyone. And of course you can visit The Fly Creek Cider Mill, breweries, antique shops, wineries, and the list goes on!!
11 of us stayed at the awesome super sooped-up luxurious cottage/mansion. Everyone was thoroughly impressed and gave me alcolades since I organized this bachelor weekend. Not only is the house awesome, we had access to the lake, boat house, and pool (though we never used the pool, sigh). Finally, the location is definitely convenient. We were basically only there all day for Fri & Sat and managed to hit the grocery store, play 18, pick up pizza, go to the baseball HOF, go to brewery Ommegang, and hit the fine bars of Cooperstown during our short stay. Highly recommended! Thanks Bill!

Bachelor weekends with golf and fishing, girls getaway weekends with in-home massage therapy, or couples-weekends with in-home chef services...pick a date and head to Cooperstown and experience a few days of luxurious living in a handcrafted, super-cool log post and beam lodge!
Bill I just wanted to reach out and express how much enjoyment we had staying at your lovely property. Not only did the house meet the descriptions from the website, it far exceeded them in person. The Hall was a great visit but your home became the destination. The attention to detail throughout kept us amazed at every turn. Thank you again for the great accommodations, Myself and my family look forward to one day returning.

Its a pleasure to hear comments from guests about the interior features of our home. A lot of time and effort was put into choosing the furnishings and decor...all in an effort to create a memorable experience for our guests!
We were a family of four adults and three children on a trip to Cooperstown to celebrate Easter together. To say that this house was remarkable is an understatement. It was something that you could never even imagine. We had a wonderful stay in this house and have memories to last a lifetime. talk about the best Easter egg hunt ever! The house was spotless and had everything to make it a a home away from home. Although we had the best time in chilly weather, I am sure this place is magnificent in the summer. We can't wait to return!

More and more, guests are discovering a getaway to Cooperstown can be just as fulfilling in the non-summer seasons. The restaurants and museums are less crowded and a stroll down Main Street can be at your own pace! Explore all that Cooperstown and the surrounding area has to offer and then plan a return trip to spend your summer vacation on our spectacular lake!
Another truly amazing romantic getaway at our favorite "camp" in the Northeast. This is our 3rd year in a row at Arrowhead Pointe in January (yes, Winter in Cooperstown) but our first stay in “Oneida” and it was absolutely magnificent. Waking up right next to the lake brought the experience to an entirely new level. Plus, with a full moon Saturday night and temperatures falling below zero (-6!), we slowly fed the beautiful fireplace, absorbing every ounce of warmth it provided while simultaneously gazing out the great room window at the lake and full moon above…so peaceful, serene and rejuvenating. Nowhere, we mean nowhere reconnects us to what matters in life like Arrowhead Pointe…to nature, to each other and to a deep gratitude for all of God's gifts. This is why we return year after year... We are eternally grateful for your generosity in sharing your masterpiece. See you next year...

More and more couples are escaping the day-to-day "noise" of regular life and taking refuge at one of our lakeside retreats. A couple days of quiet relaxation and fresh air does wonders for the soul... and the mind! Come to Cooperstown, visit the quaint shops and restaurants; you may just become a "regular"!
THIS WAS A DREAM COME TRUE! An amazing experience, this log house is unforgettable. The pictures do not do it justice. This was an ideal getaway for me and even though it snowed 8 inches, we felt like we were in a winter wonderland. The scenery was picturesque and we could not take enough photos. Bill was in contact with me before, during and after my arrival. He was very reliable and always willing to answer any and all questions I had. The fireplace was perfect and we had a great time cooking in the beautiful kitchen. I cannot wait to go back here again. I am already looking at the calendar to see when I can go back. I feel fortunate I had the chance to see and stay in such a gorgeous home.
THIS IS THE PLACE YOU HAVE ALWAYS DREAMED ABOUT. We felt as though we were living in a giant tree house with all the modern conveniences possible. What a masterpiece! We loved every minute of our vacation at this awesome home and can't wait for the time when we can return again. There were a few days when we never left, but just relaxed, read a book, or tested our culinary skills with the Wolf oven. Although we went at the end of November and the weather was changing; it sure didn't hamper our trip. We had some sun, some rain, and even some snow; but that didn't make a bit of difference. We couldn't use the pool or the kayak on lake, but we still could listen to great music or to the geese squawking out on the lake as they planned their southern route. We loved the morning sun rises, hiking through Glimmerglass State Park, having a fire in the fireplaces inside and out, cooking outside on the grill, taking our time going through the Baseball Hall of Fame without the crowds, going to the Farmer's Museum, sipping a few glasses of wine, playing board games, visiting Cooperstown, or just doing nothing, but RELAXING. It is a wonderful home with plenty of nooks and crannies to get lost in. There wasn't anything that we lacked. NOTHING! We keep telling all of our friends about it and back up our words with plenty of picutres. Thank you for allowing us the privilege of staying in your great home. We all had such a wonderful vacation!

Too kind! Thank you for your glowing remarks...makes us feel good to know we hit the mark!
We had a wonderful time at this amazing location. The house is beautifully done, with special attention to detail. It was so comfortable, it felt like "home". The most beautiful views from the balcony facing the lake allow for a very relaxing stay. The boathouse has everything you need and is a great place to relax. The owner, Bill, was incredibly responsive to all of our requests which made our stay that much more comfortable. We expect to made this "our" place whenever we are in the area. Thank you Bill for making our stay a memorable one:)
OMG! What a beautiful place, I don"t think my family and I have ever stayed at such a beautiful, warm and inviting home. This home has everything you need for a family getaway. The grounds are incredable and the scenery was breathtaking! Fall foliage never looked so good! If your a baseball fan, then you will love Cooperstown and The Baseball Hall of Fame just a few minutes away, if not, there is plenty of things for the whole family to do!. What a great place to make lots of family memories, can't wait to go back! Thanks for creating such a wonderful place!

One of the best souvenirs that can be taken away from Cooperstown cannot be purchased in any of the stores on Main Street... the memory of a great family vacation!!
Words cannot describe the feeling when first stepping foot into Oneida Lodge North. It is a remarkable feeling I'll never forget for as long as I live. My friends and family were so blown away upon entering, that everyone sat in silence for nearly 15 minutes, I kid you not! The craftsmanship of the cabin; the sweeping views; that 245 year old Canadian white pine with spiral staircase! I'm already looking for an excuse to return next year. If you love natural beauty, look no further. I will never even consider the thought of staying anywhere else while in the Cooperstown area. Thank you so very much, Bill & Liz!!! Cheers...
We had an amazing weekend at ArrowHead Pointe in Cooperstown! The kids enjoyed swimming in the heated pool in October and playing Fooseball in the Boathouse. The condo is beautiful with every amenity you could want - lots of comfy places to read and relax by the fire. The views of the lake and fall foliage were breathtaking - we will definately be back!
A group of friends and I were looking for a relaxing weekend getaway outside of Boston and New York. What we found was a relaxing and beautiful retreat with all of the comforts and amenities of a 5 star resort. We spent most of the weekend lounging by the fire, kayaking, and taking trips into the post-card perfect town of cooperstown. Not to mention all the cooking we did in what could be an award-winning kitchen. Reserving the house was very easy and the owners were a joy to work with. We didn't have any problems or issues upon arrival and no one bothered or disturbed us the entire time. Definitely looking to come back here in the future. We made many great memories and the trip became an instant memory for me and my friends. Thank you so much Bill for helping organize such a beautiful weekend. Mark
"Thank you so much for allowing us to rent your house last week for our visit to Cooperstown. The house was beautiful and we all really enjoyed our stay there. The boys were a bit jealous when they saw our accomodations versus theirs at the baracks at Dreams Park. We will recommend your house to others that will be traveling to the area next year."
4 families stayed at this home for one week while our boys played baseball. We had a great time! Looking forward to my younger son playing baseball in Cooperstown in 2 more years so that I can stay here again. Absolutely loved it!!
Thank you so very much for creating such a wonderful place for us to live for a week!! Your home is stunning! The amenities were perfect and we would not have had the amazing time we did have without having a spacious home to come back to with friends! Thanks again for all of your help
We rented the home with 3 other families to stay while our boys were taking part in the Cooperstown Dreams Park Tournament. It was a wonderful week! The house could not have been more perfect for our stay.....the pool being right there was perfect for our down time between games. Although it is only 12 miles from the park, driving on windy roads and through downtown, it did take us 30 minutes each way. (might be valuable info for anyone needing or wanting a shorter ride). The lake was beautiful although swimming right from shore was not possible with all the lake grass and lily pads. Renting a pontoon bpat was the perfect idea and providing us with that website wa much appreciated. The home itself is absolutely BEAUTIFUL and provided ample space for all 4 families with all the amenities we could ask for. The week was truly memorable and we enjoyed our stay very, very much! Thank you!
My families first experience vacationing on a lake and won't be our last! Relaxing, peaceful, beautiful place to get away from it all. The home was amazing inside and out. We all enjoyed the amenities this property had to offer. It was nice to be so close to Cooperstown for our boys games, but far enough away to relax and take in the beautiful lake. I highly recommend this place to stay and we will definitely be back in two years when our younger son plays in Cooperstown.
Wow! What an amazing home! We arrived to a beautiful home that was equipped with everything that we needed to enjoy our vacation! You could clearly see that this home had many years of thought & hard work put into it! Not only the home, but the boat house, pool, & grounds were so beautiful! This was a short drive to Cooperstown ball field, but yet a wonderful escape! Bill was wonderful to work with! We would highly recommend this Wonderful home to friends & family!
My friends and I spent a wonderful "girls weekend" at this beautiful house. The owners were very helpful and took care of our every need immediately. The house is in pristine condition, with beautiful views and more than enough room for a group to spread out. It was the perfect setting and Cooperstown was a lovely way to spend Saturday afternoon. This group rents often in New York State, and I would highly recommend this location.
My friends and I stayed at this house this past March and had a wonderful time. The house exceeded our expectations in every way and was a great place to stay at. We were blown away by the level of detail put into everything. When I go back to visit I would not consider staying anywhere else.
We held our small wedding at Arrowhead Pointe and our experience was off the charts amazing! Our wedding weekend was exactly how we envisioned it and we've received so much positive feedback from our friends' and family about hosting them on the property. Everyone is already asking us to do our 5 year anniversary there as a reunion! We couldn't have asked for better weather or a more magnificent venue.

Selecting a wedding venue for an intimate ceremony requires a creative approach. The ArrowHead Pointe property provides an outstanding and picturesque setting as well as exceptional lodging. The lake side location (just minutes from Cooperstown) along with the mature landscaping, waterfalls and artistic architecture, truly enhances what will be a once-in-a-lifetime event! The pictures taken during these small weddings are just incredibly beautiful!
Thanks for making our new years eve so memorable. We had a wonderful time. The place and view is gorgeous. Also Tim is so helpful and makes everything go so smoothly. Highly recommend to all

Holidays represent special occasions for family and friends to gather together and celebrate life! Our home provides plenty of open-entertainment areas, a very well-equipped kitchen and a massive redwood table around which all of your guests can congregate. In addition to 2 flat-screen televisions in the public spaces, every bedroom features its own flat screen and the entire home is covered via wi-fi. This is a home in which cherished memories are made during every visit...come and create your own!
The Lodges at Arrowhead Pointe served as the perfect backdrop for our families 2011 Thanksgiving Weekend celebration. We have always admired this property and we thought Thanksgiving would be a perfect opportunity to experience and enjoy the beauty of Arrowhead Pointe. We were not disappointed. From the well-appointed kitchen, to the beautiful autumn views over the lake - this year's Thanksgiving was one to remember. We hope to get back up there soon.
I typically don't read consumer reviews and I have never written one, in any context - until now. Prior to writing this, I spent time trying to come up with balanced commentary weighing positives & negatives. The challenge was finding the negatives. This is a 100% first class experience. If the price is above your budget, its worth it, if its in your budget, you will not be disappointed. We are intimately familiar with Cooperstown and have our own place there - but for logistical reasons had to rent another property for a long weekend. We were fortunate to have spent it at Arrowhead Pointe - it will meet and exceed even the most discriminating tastes. As the pictures indicate, the quality of the construction is off the charts. Couple this with the unique/original features - 42 foot, 3 story, towering tree trunk that acts as the anchor for an incredible stairway, top quality kitchen, baths, bedrooms & fireplaces - the experience is a very memorable one - bring a good camera. No detail is missed - for those who love to build a fire you know it's an art, not a science. When you walk in, there is a proper fire waiting to be lit - only one match needed (really!). Not to enough DRY, properly sized kindling & wood for a roaring fire as long as you can stay awake. The construction, views of the lake and general atmosphere are so impressive you just might forget to enjoy the Cooperstown experience. Keep in mind we went in February - in the summer months with the boathouse, lake & warm summer nights, unreal. The owners are wonderful people that have long-standing connections with the area & take personal pride in making sure your experience is flawless. If you need to call them (in our case to ask for something that was already there) they are extremely responsive. Do yourself, you family and/or friends a favor & experience AHP. Whether a long weekend or a full summer week - not only will you not be disappointed, you'll have a hard time leaving.
Loved the Boathouse
Beautiful location. The lake is gorgeous. The boat house was a fun place to go play some ping-pong and air hockey with the kiddos. House was beautiful and comfortable all in one
