Cayuga Lodge South at ArrowHead Pointe on Otsego Lake;
A Fantasy Vacation Home!
Take a self-guided, fully immersive 3D 360° Tour right now!
3 Bedrooms, 3.5 Bathrooms, 5 Fireplaces and a 42-Foot Tall Tree...
Down the massive stone steps and past the double waterfall, swing open the hand-carved cedar door and you have entered your dream vacation home; 3200 square feet of luxury on 3-levels connected by a 3-story log staircase that sweeps around a polished maple tree.
The wide-open Main Floor is where family and friends gather; in front of the fireplace in the great room, around the 12-foot long solid-slab redwood dining table or at the 11-foot natural slab counter in the chef's kitchen...all exposed to vistas of Otsego Lake and The Sleeping Lion Mountain visible beyond walls of glass. The kitchen is very well appointed with Wolf range, built-in Sub-Zero Fridge and Azko dishwasher. A pair of hand-hammered sinks and faucets are fabricated from solid copper as is the stove hood, which was made by our local blacksmith.
The entire home highlights the detailed framework of huge, hand-peeled Douglas fir and cedar logs, along with black birch twig railings, and the artistic application of rustic features.
Catch a ride in the 3-stop private elevator to the Upper Floor, which is dedicated to the master suite. This entire level has vaulted, wainscoted ceilings with 8 electronic skylights and shades. Relax in the soft leather club chairs in front of a gas fireplace in the sitting room; step through the French doors to a lake view balcony. The bedroom, with its own gas fireplace, is wonderfully appointed with custom designed, handcrafted furniture of pine and cherry with birch bark and vintage mirror insets; the bed is anchored with a 15-foot tall cedar tree. Twin doors open to another balcony. The frame of a 60-year old canoe hangs in the hallway near the top of the tree.
Step into the spa-like bathroom and indulge yourself in the deep, jetted soaking tub. The glass-walled shower area features 2 showerheads and a series of adjustable body spays; very relaxing!
Down the hand-built log staircase to the Lake Level where the lucky guests will find two beautifully furnished bedroom suites; one features a marble walled bathroom and the other a granite bathroom; both with AHP Signature pedestal sinks and clear glass frameless showers. Here, on the Lake Level is the family room with wet bar and wine fridge, flat screen tv and comfy leather furniture including a queen sleeper sofa. Outside the French doors is a 30-foot long bluestone patio with a circular wrought iron stair up to the Main Level and stone steps that lead visitors down to the lake and The Boathouse.
The Boathouse, another stunning 2-story log structure, hugs the lake and provides exceptional spaces for relaxation, reading, gazing at the lake and for gathering with friends as the lake reflects the colors of a setting sun. It serves as the clubhouse for the enclave of 5 homes. Authentic folk art and antique and hand crafted furniture graces the Main Floor while an 80-year old birch bark canoe hangs suspended under a 12-foot long clear span skylight. In one of the adjacent side rooms, the wooden frame of a vintage kayak is tucked into the massive log rafters of a wide open, vaulted ceiling. 3 fireplaces and a pair of bathrooms are conveniently provided. Numerous French sliders open onto a wrap-around covered deck over-hanging the waters of Otsego; so clear you can watch the trout swim by!
Come on in and take a self-guided, fully immersive, 3D 360° Tour right now!
Down the log spiral stairs and around the "coat-tree" (with it's authentic, colorful Navajo style coats hanging from the branches) to the Lake Level. A specially designed walk-behind birch bark bar is ideal for entertaining friends; twig bar stools and fooseball table are just inside a wall of glass looking right out at the lake. Step through the French doors to the lakefront walkway, which connects the beach area to the boat dock.
Adjacent to The Boathouse is the heated pool (open May 15th- October 15th); raised up from the lake, its patio is a perfect place to catch some sun and to watch boaters pass by. The landscape is lush and dense with massive boulder retaining walls and another soothing waterfall located next to the log and twig gazebo.
ArrowHead Pointe is a vacation retreat for discriminating families looking for the perfect home and location, on the area's most sought after lake, Otsego. Bring your boat or rent one and keep it at our dock; 2 restaurants can be reached by boat and our lake is exceptionally clean and very much underutilized.
Fishing, swimming, sailing, kayaking and canoeing, tubing and skiing; all right from our beachfront.

The property is uniquely beautiful, and the architecture of the home is remarkable! Our host Bill was very helpful, communicative and available for us 100% of the time during our 5 day stay. The kitchen is huge, and stocked and I am a big cook so that was perfect for our family! There are 3 floors, the top master floor is dreamy and all of the sheets are cozy. The main floor is where we gathered and it is roomy and the fireplaces are great, the wrap-around porch is fantastic and my girls and I watched the sunrise everyday with our coffee, the dining room table is fabulous, our boys hung out and played games downstairs and we loved the cabin at the lakefront (that is part of the rental), the view of the lake is gorgeous, and we played ping pong and air hockey and we had appetizers and libations around the big fireplace on the first floor. Cooperstown is a darling town and there is an amazing gym called The Clark Center that has day passes and we went there everyday to start our day. We ate out and explored the town and it was wonderful. We had a marvelous time and we highly recommend it!
Owner Response
Brad and family, We very much appreciate your kind words regarding your Cooperstown experience. The decks on Cayuga Lodge really are the perfect vantage points from which to watch the new day come to light...summer or winter! You and your family were awesome guests and we hope you’ll consider a future stay as Preferred Guests. Happy New Year, Liz and Bill
Property is unique, spacious and very comfortable. We enjoyed our time there.
Owner Response
Hi Sandra and thanks for your comments. Thanks for being great guests and we hope to see you again in the near future. All the best, liz and Bill
It was a beautiful fall weekend at this beautiful property! Comfortable, clean beautifully appointed, well stocked kitchen necessities, good friends had a nice, relaxing weekend Nd would like to come back in the summer to enjoy the lake.
Owner Response
Hi there Ruth! Very much appreciate your kind words and we’re so glad you had such a perfect weekend with your friends. Thanks for being terrific guests and please consider another visit as Preferred Guests!
We had a small family reunion over Columbus Day Weekend and really enjoyed this house and property. Bill pointed us to a boat rental so we could enjoy the lake for a day. The house has tons of amenities - we ate most of our meals in.
Owner Response
Kristy, hello and thanks for your review! We are really happy you and your family enjoyed Cooperstown and your stay at Cayuga Lodge South:) Cruising the lake and seeing the shoreline and colors of the surrounding hillsides during the Fall is the BEST! We hope you'll consider a return visit, perhaps during the summer when you can get IN the lake! All the best, Liz and Bill
Excellent construction. Great beauty.
Owner Response
Walt, it was a pleasure hosting your family and we’re so happy you enjoyed your visit to Cooperstown and your stay at the lodge. We look forward to seeing you again! Liz and Bill
Oneida North was absolutely beautiful. Views of lake were amazing. We went for a relaxing vacation and that is exactly what we got! Clean, comfortable and all was at your finger tips. Bill was available when needed and very kind. Will definitely come back or maybe even check out his other properties.
Owner Response
Thank you Gina for taking the time to post your review. Liz and I are so glad you enjoyed your Cooperstown experience and that our lodge was comfortable and welcoming:) We look forward to your return as Preferred Guests...perhaps during the Fall when the leaves are in full color...consider renting a boat and seeing the myriad colors reflected in the water! Happy Spring, Liz and Bill
Let me just start by saying that Arrowhead is absolutely fantastic. When we walked into Cayuga South we were just so impressed by what Bill had built. The level of detail, the quality of the home were all just perfect. From the views of the lake, to the access to the water, to the use of the kayaks, pool and all that Arrowhead had to offer, everyone in our group had a great time. Whether it was time in town or a visit to the baseball hall of fame, dinner or lunch.....it was all so easy to get to. Don't hesitate to stay here....it's well worth it.
A unique combination of nature’s beauty and ultimate luxury is the best way to describe Cayuga Lodge South. Photos don’t begin to capture just how magnificent this home truly is. Immediately upon entering this property we were amazed at the incredible attention to detail. The open floor plan which includes a top of the line kitchen, made preparing meals part of the entertainment and easily accommodated multiple cooks. The views through the multiple glass doors are breathtaking as guests enjoy the beautiful scenery and the warmth of the hypnotic fireplaces. We loved that the master suite was on the top level while the other two bedrooms (each with its own beautiful bathroom) are on the bottom level, separated by the main floor. This provided the perfect layout for both group and alone time. The staircases are a work of art. Sleeping in the master suite bed was like lying on a cloud and the skylights combined with the wood and trees made it feel like we were sleeping outdoors! The additional bedrooms had a wonderful living area as well with a fireplace and large screen TV. Covered balconies provide the perfect opportunity to step outside and enjoy that first cup of coffee outside in your pjs. The Boathouse provides yet another entertainment area and a heated pool is located just steps away. Additional activities including board games, movies, novels, and magazines were a pleasant surprise as well. Bill and Liz have put part of themselves into this home and I believe they have created the perfect getaway. They go above and beyond to ensure that their guests enjoy their stay and are happy to provide information on local restaurants and attractions. This is more than a vacation spot, this is a vacation experience. I’m so grateful that my family had the opportunity to spend time at this incredible Cooperstown Luxury property.
Owner Response
Marci and family, thank you for taking the time to provide such a detailed review of your recent stay. We truly appreciate you recognizing the details and craftsmanship. It was a pleasure having you as guests and we look forward to your return! Liz and Bill
I can’t thank Bill and Liz enough for our weekend in Cooperstown! We stayed at Cayuga Lodge South. The lodge was absolutely beautiful throughout with extensive detail and unique woodwork. Pictures don’t even begin to cover the stunning lodge and property. Everything you could ever need was included and ready to use right in the lodge. Bill was extremely helpful and recommended great local places to check out while we were in town. We enjoyed dinner at Mel’s at 22, visited the Baseball Hall of Fame, and had a great time at the pancake breakfast held at the Farmers’ Museum, complete with a tour of the historic villiage. Our trip was one to be remembered and we would highly recommend to our friends and family. We can’t wait to come back to Cooperstown and stay here again!
Owner Response
Hi Danielle, Wow, you and your friends were busy! Thanks for sharing the pictures...I could almost taste the maple syrup! We’d love to have you visit again as Preferred Guests! Thanks for being great guests!! Liz and Bill
Absolutely stunning cabin with a million dollar view. Well maintained and everything you need is on site (coffee makers, irons, towels, dishes, etc.) Plenty of parking on site for guests and a quick drive to town...not that you’ll ever want to leave. We stayed in the cabin for 3 days for our wedding and had a wonderful and relaxing time with family. The process is a breeze and Bill is very responsive to any questions.
Owner Response
Hey Kim, You and all of your friends and family were absolute pleasures to have as guests at our homes during your wedding weekend. Liz and I were very pleased to hear how much fun everyone had during their visit to Cooperstown and their stay at the lodges! We wish you and Anthony the absolute best of everything:) The Millers
The Adorinfack Loj is a true representation of a premiere Loj in the adirondacks. Everything is hand crafteted and authentic with logs encompassing the entire home in true adirondack fashion including 5 fireplaces! We were wowed by the craftermanship and style along with all the amenities including boat house and pool. The Loj accommodates 3 couples or a large family with room for all with the many family rooms and outdoor decks! For a quick getaway from the Caputal Region, this Loj is like none other - a hidden gem in Cooperstown! Lisa
Owner Response
Lisa, Thanks for your kind words. And for taking notice of the details and custom craftsmanship which went into constructing Cayuga Lodge. Cooperstown really is a great weekend escape for those living in the Albany region...bring some of them along with you on your next trip:) Liz and Bill
We had a small group stay here for a work Retreat (at this property and the one right next to it) and it was phenomenal. The craftsmanship of both houses and the boathouse was breathtaking and, at the same time, inviting. There were common spaces for our whole group meetings, breakout spaces for smaller meetings, spacious and beautiful bedrooms, a boathouse that must be seen to be believed, and an overall feeling of peace, quiet, and tranquility that made for the most productive Retreat we've had in over a decade. The owners are responsive and involved and I can't recommend these properties highly enough. Perfect for what we did. Perfect for a multi-family getaway. We felt lucky to have found this magical place.
Owner Response
Hi Patrick, Thank you to you and all of your associates! We are very glad the property worked so well for your executive retreat! We hope you'll consider a return visit as Preferred Guests. All the best, Liz and Bill
My Husband and I rented Cayuga South Lodge for our wedding party, which was the best decision ever made. The property was impressive with all the log/wood detail. There were 8 of us staying there with plenty of space for privacy even on the day of the wedding, the girls got ready upstairs and the boys downstairs. Fully equipped kitchen, lots of relaxing space, beautiful views! Can't wait to book here again!
Owner Response
Kara, Liz and I are very happy you enjoyed your stay at our lodge. But even happier that you had such a beautiful day for your wedding. Congrats!!
We descended upon two of these incredible Log Condos with 18 people, and high hopes. Every person from 8 yrs to 82 yrs was extremely impressed, delighted, and enthusiastic about how nice and truly amazing the structures and setting are. The photos are accurate, but to be in the spaces, or sitting on a balcony overlooking the lake or swimming in the pool, is something more magical than you expect. There isn't a detail overlooked for your comfort and Bill's communication is awesome. The property grounds are a work of art in landscaping, the entire place is immaculate. For our large group, we loved being able to sit in one big room with plenty of couches or tables to sit at, and the balconies are endless! We cooked every meal with ease in one kitchen of the two condos, and I just can't say enough about the experience! We really needed more time to enjoy it all! Thank you Bill again and again!
Owner Response
Wow! This sounds like a place at which I'd like to vacation!!:) Thank you for your compliments...I will pass them along to our maintenance people and our cleaners who play such a big part in creating the atmosphere which your family enjoyed. We look forward to welcoming you all back in the near future as Prefferred Guests!! All the best, Liz and Bill
We stayed for a week while my youngest son played at Cooperstown Dreamspark. This home is gorgeous and conveniently located 20 to 25 minutes away from the Dreamspark. Our only regret is that our stay was too short. We could have easily spent another week staying solely at the house to enjoy the lake, pool, and all of the amenities the property has to offer.
Owner Response
Hi Debbie! Many visitors to Cooperstown never realize we have such an awesome lake which is why it's so uncrowded! We're glad you were able to get a little taste:) Liz and Bill
Overall, we were very pleased with our stay. We were greeted by the owner, Bill, who was very friendly and helpful. This home is gorgeous, and we would love to come back. Only reason I gave 4 stars was because for the amount we paid for our rental, I would have hoped the owner would be a bit more lenient with the guest allowances. We would have been happy to sign a waiver or pay an extra deposit in order to entertain more than 4 guests. Also, I would have appreciated a few basic amenities such as extra toilet paper, paper towels, basic spices, etc.
Owner Response
Hi Carolyn and thanks so much for your kind words! We know it's a huge temptation to share the home and all of its amenities with other families staying in the region. However, visitor limits are set to ensure an enjoyable experience by all guests. And to avoid any disappointment or surprise about the guest limits, we communicate it as clearly as possible...in our on-line listings, in the descriptions, the lease, in our email informational files and in our reminder files. We look forward to having you back in the future as Preferred Guests! Thanks again for being great guests! Liz and Bill
This is a beautiful home in a great area. Our group ended up spending most of our time in the house, on the lake and in the pool. We could not have had a better time!
Owner Response
That sounds like a perfect weekend!! We hope to see your group back in town again!!
This is a beautiful handcrafted home. Visually stunning, well appointed and incredibly clean. We stayed here for our daughter's wedding and felt at home yet pampered like we were on vacation. The sweeping view of being right on the lakes edge was icing on the cake! This property is a must when spending time in Cooperstown. S.H.
Owner Response
Sally, We are always thrilled when our home is chosen by those who will be celebrating such an auspicious occasion as their daughter's wedding! Cooperstown is really a magical destination for weddings and we are happy Cayuga Lodge played a small part in a wonderful and memorable weekend. Thank you for being great guests and cheers to the newlyweds:) Bill
Bill and Liz - What an amazing stay we had at your home at Cayuga South Lodge. Although we were only there for a weekend stay, we had a wonderful time. The accommodations were spacious, luxurious and had everything needed to make our stay enjoyable. My husband and I occupied the third floor master suite with its own master bath and fireplace together with its own sitting room with fireplace, while my mother enjoyed a bedroom on the lower level of the home with her own bathroom and sitting room with fireplace. Although we did go into Cooperstown, it was hard not to just stay at the lodge wandering around admiring the craftsmanship and elegance of the house or sitting at one of the two fireplaces on the main floor and relaxing and enjoying the view of the lake. We will definitely be back. Thanks once again.
Owner Response
Liz and I are always happy when our guests are happy!! We were so thrilled to have your family as the winners of our our first ever Weekend Getaway Sweepstakes! Partnering with The Fly Creek Cider Mill, Cooperstown Area Massage and Mel's at 22 allowed us the opportunity to provide you with a real taste of the Cooperstown area. On behalf of our Sweepstakes partners, we thank you for your participation and for being great guests!!
Hi Bill! I just wanted to let you know how much we loved the cabin!!! In person, it took our breath away!!! We had a blast!!! It definitely put us in the Christmas spirit with the snow, the cabin and the lake. Family and friends who saw our pictures are asking about the cabin and want to go there!!! The details in the design and decorating are incredible!!! You'd only see cabin rentals like these out West. Thanks again for answering our questions and getting back to us quickly regarding the Wi-Fi. Have a Happy New Year!!!
Owner Response
Karen, we truly appreciate you sharing your thoughts and recognizing the unique ambiance of our home! Have a great 2017!
Our family spent a week in september in Cayuga (the name of the house) on Otsega lake. It's a beautiful large home, with 3 floors. The children and their friends were on the ground floor where they had their own bedrooms overlooking the lake and each their own bathrooms. The 1st floor was the communal area with a large, well equipped kitchen and two seating areas, each with a fireplace, and dining table. A deck allows one to sit outside and enjoy a beautiful view of the lake. The 2nd floor holds the master bedroom with master bath, a separate sitting area, again with fireplace, and a couple of small decks/balconies. There is a lift for those who are not able to use the stairs (great for luggage!). From the house it's a 2 minute walk to the dock where there are 4 kayaks to use. The lake is glorious. There is also a small pool with comfortable chairs. We had a great time. The week flew by. Cooperstown is a fun town with lots of things to do and the surrounding area is hilly and beautiful. We swam, kayaked, hiked, visited a couple of museums, walked through the town, toured the countryside. It's a wonderful place to spend your vacation and Cayuga is a super comfortable house from where to explore the area.
Owner Response
Many people find Autumn to be the perfect time to visit Cooperstown...the crowds have left the museums and restaurants and the lake is so uncrowded it feels like your own private lake. Yet the weather is warm enough to fully enjoy the region and the water. We look forward to welcoming you back as Preferred Guests!
We rented 3 properties from Coopersown luxury for our wedding weekend and i'll share my email to the owners Bill and Liz after our stay to help summarize how we felt if you're considering renting one of their properties: Thanks soooooo much for letting us stay at you're homes. We had the most amazing weekend & of course, all the guests were blown away by the houses. You're properties are beautiful beyond words and your hospitality and accessibility has been incredibly impeccable and helpful. We really hope to continue to have this relationship with you and rent again next year. We loved swimming in the clearest lake we've ever seen & playing on the lake trampoline. As you know, the treehouse isn't the easiest place to find so thank you for taking the time to answer our guests calls late at night when they got turned around. This has been the most amazing weekend of our lives Thank you to you and your staff for making it happen.
Owner Response
Shanna, Thanks so much for your email. Cooperstown is fast becoming a true wedding destination. We often hear from our guests the same comments about Otsego Lake...so clean, so ... uncrowded! Staying "on the lake" in one of our handcrafted log homes brings another layer of interest and enjoyment to every wedding weekend! We home to welcome you back when you'll have time to relax and explore our region. Once again, BIG congrats:)
The house and the lake are fantastic. Beautiful wood work! Amazing details! Wonderful having the kayaks at our disposal. Highly recommended! Thanks Bill and Liz :)
Owner Response
Your family were great guests!! It was a pleasure watching the children play at the edge of the lake and paddle about in the kayaks...they truly were having fun without an electronic gadget in sight!! We look forward to your return at some point in the future:)
We had 3 families stay here while our boys played at Cooperstown Dreams Park. We looked at all the various websites and many pictures of lake homes while planning our trip. We wanted enough space and separate bathrooms for each family, a pool for our little ones and to be within a 20 minute drive of the park. This amazing place did all that and more. Check in was simple, the pictures really don't do any of the actual craftsmanship any justice, and the place was huge. Parking is in a parking lot (not off the road where you fear for your life like many lake properties in Cooperstown) and the place was immaculate. On check in, we met the owner and went over any details and questions, he recommended a few restaurants (Redneck BBQ and Blue Mingo, both very good) and let us know where to find groceries. While planning our trip he also recommended boat rentals companies. We used "Chuck" who rented us a pontoon deck boat for the week and we were able to keep it on our property dock without returning it every night. Although, the Dreams Park experience is great for every 12yr old baseball player, all 3 families agreed we would come back to this spot for a family vacation, it's that nice. The lake is crystal clear and made for great swimming, tubbing, waterskiing and the scenery couldn't be more beautiful. This place and experience was awesome!
Owner Response
Thank you for taking the time to share details of your vacation at our lodge! Liz and I truly appreciate hearing what our guests did while visiting Cooperstown. Otsego Lake is really an amazing body of water...unlike the other lakes in the area, Otsego is deep (over 160 feet), has a cold-water fishery (salmon, trout, pike, etc), and is so clear that visibility is more than 20 feet! We look forward to welcoming you back so you can spend more time on (and in) the lake and exploring our region in central New York!!
We had a great family vacation with our adult kids and spouses. THe home is beautiful. Well maintained and the area is gorgeous. We highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing vacation. Cooperstown was fun as well.
Owner Response
Dan, It was so nice to meet your family. Liz and I are happy to know you enjoyed your visit and your stay! We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back as a Preferred Guest in the near future! Bill
This is the perfect location for families with a baseball player. Younger and older siblings can enjoy the lake and all amenities offered at this property. The property is gorgeous and relaxing! Thank you Bill.
Owner Response
In recent years, families have been discovering the benefits of vacationing in private homes versus motels/hotels...more space, privacy and amenities. We've found the heated lakeside pool is enjoyed almost as much as the lake! Your group was a real pleasure to host...come back soon!! Bill
This lake home is the perfect getaway from the summer heat and the fast pace of big city life. Our family of 6 was ini Cooperstown for baseball and wanted to get as much vacation as we could while up there and we could not have had a better experience. The home is immaculate - three beautiful floors with incredible views of the lake. The amenities include canoes, kayaks, a swimming pool and one of the prettiest lakes we've ever stayed on. This property is well worth the few extra dollars - we saw many of the other properties our fellow team parents stayed at and there is no comparison between those other homes or the other lake available in the Cooperstown area.
Owner Response
Thank you for your kind words! Otsego really is a special lake...quiet, uncrowded, clean and clear. We look forward to welcoming you back in the near future.
What a FABULOUS house. Our second stay in one of your Cooperstown homes was as good as our first! We didn't want to leave. The accommodations, the pool, the lake, the view, the wood fireplace all made our trip one to remember. We would not hesitate to recommend this home to any of our friends or family. Thank you!!
Owner Response
Liz and I are always grateful to have our guests choose to return to one of of our homes. Otsego Lake is such a great destination! We hope to see you again!
We are repeat guests and are impressed once again with the property, being able to contact the owner easily and the amenities...Chuck the boat guy is Awesome to deal with too! Had a wonderful girls getaway weekend and made memories to last a lifetime.
Owner Response
Hello Ladies! Liz and I are so glad you enjoyed your return visit and that you were able to enjoy a day on the water! Thanks for being such great guests!!
OMG! Everything was amazing. The house looked better in reality than on the picture. It was implacable in every detail. Super clean and high class. My family and friends were very happy and applauded me for choosing this place. Swimming pool was so warm, we could not believe it was still May. The owner is super nice and always available for any questions we had. The location was close and convenient for purchasing fishing supplies, hiking or dining, or amazing pictures. The lake is full of fish, no one will be bored. We would definitely be back. Thank you for having us.
Owner Response
It is our pleasure to share our home and to help visitors enjoy our special location in central New York. We think our lake is one of the best in the entire US! And we are so glad you enjoyed it! We welcome you back any time and hope to have the opportunity to meet you in person! Thanks again! Bill
To put it lightly, I don't know which was worse; the fact that we paid a lot of money for a vacation rental that we expected to be clean of rodent feces, chipmunk damage, what have you, or the way this property owner spoke to us after the fact. If you want a vacation free of critters, or a vacation where you feel like you can deal with a property owner who is respectful, professional and willing to accept when things are not acceptable, don't stay in any of these properties. We will be contacting vrbo directly about this property.

We thank this guest for taking the time to share their perspective on their recent stay. Because unexpected events can happen, we are prepared to act quickly to minimize the inconvenience when they do occur. In this instance, our cleaners were on site within an hour of the initial call for assistance and our contracted professional pest control company responded within 3 hours. With no questions asked, the guests were immediately offered the option to make use of another of our properties or to accept a full refund along with our assistance to secure alternative accommodations. After consideration, the guests chose to remain in the home. Our goal is to provide the best customer service possible and we invite every guest to provide their feedback after a vacation in our homes. Open, honest and timely communication is crucial to every transaction. If provided the opportunity, we are prepared and committed to doing all we can to ensure the satisfaction of our guests.
What a beautiful peaceful weekend. Not only did we enjoy the beautifully crafted log home but the view on the lake was amazing. The clouds reflected off the lake like a mirror.
Owner Response
Your 5th visit!!! Thank you so much for sharing your amazing lake picture! James Fenimore Cooper, in his literary series, The Deerslayer Tales, referred to Otsego Lake as The Glimmerglass...it can be so still that it nearly perfectly reflects the surrounding mountains and sky.
Bill, We could never thank you enough for the incredible time we had staying in Cayuga South. It was truly breathtaking . Throughout the carefully planned and designed house there were so many amazing touches. The woodwork and craftsmanship was something we would expect to only see in a magazine. Our family truly enjoyed every aspect of the house and the property. We immediately felt at home. Everything we could possibly need was provided. The house was spotless and comfortable. As far as I am concerned we hit a grand slam finding your property and hope we can do it next year for a longer stay. THANK YOU!!
Owner Response
Your gracious review is very much appreciated. Being able to enjoy a new and special space can be very rejuvenating. We do hope to see you again!
We rented this house for, unfortunately just a weekend, I wish we could have stayed for a week!! Everything about this house is beautiful! Can't wait to go back!
Owner Response
Liz and I are very happy you enjoyed the weekend so much. Whenever you need a little getaway to unwind, the lodge will be waiting and we look forward to welcoming you back.
I just wanted to email you to thank you so much for allowing us to use your lodge in Cooperstown for our marriage ceremony. Everything was absolutely beautiful and perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better location and excellent customer service. Thank you for allowing your cabin to be apart of our very special day!"
Owner Response
We are honored you chose our lodge for such a special occasion. We wish you a lifetime of happiness and health!!
I have stayed at this property several times and it never fails to impress me. The property is exquisite and impeccably clean. The building design and furnishings are extraordinary The owner is extremely hospitable and very responsive. I would highly recommend this property for anyone who is seeking a unique relaxing getaway or a fun filled lake adventure Location is ideal and amenities are plentiful
Owner Response
Thanks so much for recommending our home. Nothing compares to an endorsement from a guest, except the endorsement of a guest who has visited numerous times! Here's to a healthy and happy 2016!
I had the pleasure of staying in your home while our family made a special trip to the Baseball Hall of Fame. The HOF was a real treat that was made even better by knowing what a wonderful place that we could come home to each evening. The nights were cool and crisp and the fireplaces spread out through the house helped make things cozy! I look forward to visiting Cooperstown again with my family and I will definitely book this wonderful home again.
Owner Response
Your kind words are very much appreciated. But we are most thankful that you and your group enjoyed your visit to Cooperstown and your stay at Cayuga Lodge! We look forward to welcoming you back, any time!!
We stayed in the Cayuga Lodge while our son played at Cooperstown Dreams park. We were there on one of the rainiest weeks many have ever seen. Having the space of this beautiful home and the lake allowed us to keep everyone busy during rain delays! The fishing was great, the large table great for cards and Bill, the owner, even sent us a list of things to do when it rains in Cooperstown!! (So thoughtful!) I highly recommend going to Blue Mingo and the Ommegang brewery on your visit. I had no idea Cooperstown and the surrounding area was so beautiful and this house just adds to the beauty. Thank you for a great stay!!
Owner Response
Laurie, thanks for your great note! There's something special about vacationing in a log home...certainly the visuals are different than being in a regular house. But I sense its the size of the logs, the sturdiness of the structure that helps provide a sense of comfort and protection from the elements. And yes, you needed cover from the rain! We hope to see you back in Cooperstown when the sun is shining...and the fish still biting!
Just wanted to let you know that we absolutely loved renting your house last week for our trip to Cooperstown. We are coming back in 3 years for our younger son! It was a perfect retreat in between ball games....the younger siblings had a ball fishing and swimming.....made a real vacation for them as well!
Owner Response
Many families have discovered Cooperstown as a perfect summer time vacation destination...ideal for all kinds of warm weather FUN! Now, families with children playing in the baseball tournaments are taking the opportunity to turn a "baseball trip" into a REAL summer vacation for everyone...swimming, kayaking, boating and fishing, golf, shopping, and spa time, too! After all, why STAY in a hotel room when you can VACATION at a resort?!
We had spent months planning a family reunion on the weekend of our sons college graduation. Flying family out from all across the country. Cooperstown was a reasonable drive to the college in upstate New York . Finding a place that was large but elegant, and able to accommodate three generations with both private space and communal gathering space was a tall order. Add to that the need for easy accessibility for the grandparents was a must. Cayuga was perfect. The attention to detail, beautiful furnishings, high end appliances unique art work and woodworking was unbelievable. Sitting on the large porch experiencing a spring thunderstorm over the lake then a clearing and amazing rainbow was an experience we all could enjoy. The elevator, initially considered an extravagance , was perfect for the grandparents to get to their upper floor suite. A short drive into town ( 7 miles) was perfect for peace and quiet but close enough for convenience. I have rented many vacation homes throughout the country. This is the finest
Owner Response
The design of this home included consideration for visitors with mobility issues. From the parking area, a wheelchair friendly bluestone walkway was incorporated into the landscaping. And once inside, the private 3-floor elevator ensures everyone has equal access throughout the home. This ease of access is perfect for seniors who might find the stairs challenging and for parents who find the elevator is a perfect tool for helping to get the kids excited about going to bed!
We are a family that loves our leisure time and we are always looking for an inspiring environment to spend that time. The Cayuga Cabin south was perfect! My husband, our 11 year old twins and my in-laws were in awe of this beautiful cabin, both indoors and outdoors. The attention to detail was much apprecciated, from radiant heated floors, endless space to the lovely decor. I personally, enjoyed the full, top of the line, kitchen. Our kids loved making s'mores in the large fireplace (one of 4). The bedrooms were quiet on the lake and very comfortable. We spent time at the large wooden dining table eating and playing board games. We used the downstairs living room for watching movies and relaxing by the fire. The kids loved walking down to the boathouse to play air hockey and fooseball. The views outside were breathing, and not just because it was 17 degrees in winter. We kept saying "Imagine this place in the summer or fall". I know we will be coming back! I would recommend this cabin for families and for a long girls weekend. It was truly inspiring!
Owner Response
Your review was "inspirational"! We enjoy knowing that our guests have taken notice of the details incorporated into our homes and of the beauty of our region in Central New York State. We hope you do come back to see the lake in all its glory during the warm summer months!
We stayed at the Cayuga the first weekend of December and it was absolutely beautiful!!! The location is breathtaking and the house is just stunning!! Cooperstown is an adorable town with plenty of restaurants and things to do!! Bill was awesome and emailed me tons of information on the area!! We can't wait to come back in the summer!!!
Owner Response
Every season provides a different experience in an area like Cooperstown. Guests come in the winter for ice fishing and snow mobiling and to take part in the Winter carnival; Spring is time to break out the gold clubs and hiking boots; Summer...its all about our beautiful lake, Otsego; and Fall, our colorful landscape provides the perfect backdrop for all-things-outdoor! We look forward to welcoming you back to try out each season!
We rented Cayuga, along with the Treehouse, Bird's Nest and Oneida to accommodate our families and the wedding party for our daughter's wedding weekend in Cooperstown. We also used the Boathouse on the lake for the rehearsal dinner. We couldn't have been happier with our decision. From the moment we arrived everything was perfect. They were luxurious, immaculate and had all the comforts of home and more! Bill (the owner) was a pleasure to work with and was always available to handle our needs. I would highly recommend any of Bill's properties in Cooperstown!
Owner Response
We highly value personal recommendations given by our guests. Liz and I truly enjoy sharing our knowledge of the area and helping our visitors and guests with our own recommendations for local providers and service people. We feel such a sense of gratitude when our guests express their complete satisfaction...Thank you!
Exceptional Waterfront property on Lake Ostego. Had a wonderful time renting this property for my family (parents, sister's family & girlfriend). Cooperstown and Lake Otsego has something for everyone - Baseball Hall of Fame, Ommegang Brewery, Restaurants, and of course the beautiful lake. Rental House is exceptional & immaculate - special features we enjoyed: Boat House, docks for rental boat, fireplace, heated pool, spacious bedrooms, and kayaks.
Owner Response
Autumn is such a beautiful time of the year to explore our region of central NY. A short paddle in a kayak or canoe or an afternoon on a rental boat on Otsego Lake...a walk through the woods or around and through our town, so rich in architectural wonders...it cannot get any better. Come and take a look for yourself!
This house is absolutely gorgeous. Often the pictures on these sites look better than the actual dwelling, but I was pleasantly surprised that the photos don't do this place justice. The beauty of the house and the surrounding grounds really set the tone for a tranquil, relaxing vacation. Bill is such a gracious host and went out of his way to make sure we had an excellent stay. I would highly recommend this property!
Owner Response
Visitors come to our area for so many different reasons...we are delighted to provide accommodations which allow folks to unwind and relax. And our goal is to help our guests get the most (or for those wishing to simply sit back and enjoy, the least!) from their visit!
What a wonderful place to spend a relaxing vacation! Our stay couldn't have been nicer! The property is beautiful...full of spectacular architecture that keeps you in awe of how it was accomplished! There are not many places that you'll find a 42foot tree as the centerpiece of a staircase!! It is evident that no expense was spared in making this home the best that it could possibly be! We were happy and pleased with the owner's desire to make our stay the best possible! He provided us with terrific ideas for dining and entertainment during our stay! We will definitely return again soon..
Owner Response
We are delighted to share our knowledge of the Cooperstown area with our guests. Our goal is for our visitors to fully enjoy their stay and to see and experience as much of the village and surrounding area as possible. A little "local perspective" is always nice!
My initial reaction to making our summer vacation around Teddy's Cooperstown Tournament was not a positive one .......not until we settled in to the amazing Lake House of Bill Miller's! The home was something out of HGTV Dreamhouses! Not to mention how much there was to do....with the boathouse, pool and most importantly, THE LAKE!!!! The dock was perfect for jumping and just plain swimming....the lake itself was serene and clean...so inviting! I also have a child with Autism...traveling can be extremely stressful for him but not to this Lakehouse.....after the first day he was at ease! I strongly recommend this house for anyone...sooooooo incredibly worth every penny and makes for an amazing vacation!!!!!!
Owner Response
"...sooooooo incredibly worth every penny and makes for an amazing vacation!..." As vacation property owners and managers, my wife Liz and I made the decision to invite all of our guests to post comments and critiques on all of our lodging listings (most large rental brokers do not allow customer posts/reviews). It provides potential guests with first-hand insight into our properties and our rental process. And it allows us the opportunity to learn from our guests... what do they love, what do they like, and in some cases, what do we need to improve upon. "...sooooooo incredibly worth every penny and makes for an amazing vacation!..." Such a wonderful comment from one of our truly satisfied guests. Book your reservation now and come see for yourself!!
awesome home with great views, and just far enough up the mountain to be out of town. Plenty of room to relax with all the amenities you need.
Owner Response
"Balance". Do we want to be in the middle of all the action? Or someplace distant? Our homes are located within a 7 mile radius of Cooperstown. And with one stop light in town, we have almost no traffic (locals know it's rush hour when there are 3 cars lined up at the light)! A beautiful 10 minute drive from town along the edge of our lake gets you to a truly magical place where you and your family can swim, kayak and boat. Relax. Read. Explore and fish. Our definition of balance..."conveniently remote"! Get some balance in your life...book a weekend, or a week, at one of lodges today!
When my girlfriend and I first came to property, we were blown away by the incredible architecture of the cabin as well as its location. This first impression was soon blown away, when we saw the inside! It is clear that every possible detail of the home was considered and no expense was spared to please its customers! We particularly enjoyed the great views of the lake along with the sitting room, where we sat for hours in front of the fireplace with a few bottles of wine and some cheese! As for location, It was only a beautiful 10 minute drive from Cooperstown that allowed us great views of Otsego Lake. Although only the two of us stayed at the cabin, it was evident that this home could entertain many more easily! If we do come back, we will certainly bring friends!

My wife and I stayed in the cabin during February 2014 for 4 days! The cabin is absolutely beautiful and so clean! The cabin is located right on the lake so the views are incredible. The pictures that the owner offers do not do the cabin justice. Not only does the cabin look exactly like the photos, it is so much more breathtaking in person. The location is perfect. The grounds of the cabin provide for a soothing serene environment and Cooperstown is only a couple of miles away. The cabin is very big and also has its own washer and dryer which is extremely convenient. The cozy fireplace during the winter months provides ambiance perfect for couples and additional firewood was replaced daily by the ground's keeper. The owner's were awesome! Any question that we had was answered promptly and they should be congratulated on the amazing home that they have built. The attention to detail is amazing. The kitchen is stunning and is definitely a chef's kitchen. There is a deck off of the living room that overlooks the lake and is perfect for morning coffee. I would recommend this cabin to anyone and my wife and I will definitely be returning.
This was our second trip to ArrowHead Pointe. The home is a spectacle itself and the view of the lake is priceless. With the game room at the boathouse, the board games in the cabin and the rooms with multiple TV’s my children had more than enough to keep themselves occupied. We had plenty of firewood close by to keep the fireplace going as long as we wanted. Throughout our stay, the owners Liz and Bill, were readily available to address any questions we had. Can't wait to return! Thanks, Mike & Meg

Family-time is the most precious commodity. Family vacations and weekend getaways are perfect opportunities to invest this invaluable treasure. Exploring the region, dining at one of the great local establishments, a simple board game or gathering around a warm crackling fire, all encourage family interaction, connectivity and strengthening of relationships. We look forward to welcoming your family back soon!
Thanks for another great weekend escape! This was our 4th annual stay and it was as spectacular as the first. We cannot wait to come back!
Owner Response
We so appreciate your continued patronage...repeat visits by guests like you and Amy mean a lot to us. See you soon!
We were looking for a last minute weekend getaway - somewhere for the two of us to relax post Christmas, make some great meals, unwind, relax by the fire and reconnect, decompress. This place was immaculate, perfect, gorgeous. Stacks of dry wood waiting to be burned in one of the fireplaces. Very comfortable beds, sofas, chairs. Great/functional kitchen. Absolutely stunning space. Remote location, but close enough to get groceries in 20-25 minutes. Bill went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. A few calls to make sure we made it there ok, that everything was in order and if we needed anything. Great recommendations on where to go in Cooperstown, however we didn't leave the house! I cannot recommend this property enough. I've stayed at several Flipkey/VRBO places and this is hands down, THE BEST. ALSO - I managed to misplace my watch - a valuable timepiece. Bill went the extra mile to make sure it was found, secured and properly shipped back. A++++++++++++++

Nothing better than great company, great food and drink and a great home in which to enjoy! Spending a few days hunkered down in a cozy and inviting lodge with the fire going and some soft background music can be so relaxing and re-energizing! Come on up and give it a try...call us now at 908 304 4666
This was our 2nd Christmas at this breathtaking chalet and we again were not disappointed. The fireplace was already prepared with plenty of wood available when we arrived. We had plenty of snow to make the visit even more festive. The architecture, artwork and state of the art appliances are above and beyond. Checking out is the hardest part.....tough leaving this relaxing get away. Don't think twice about staying here, you won't be disappointed! Thanks Bill and Liz
Owner Response
What a fantastic tradition...Christmas with family in a home that offers just the right ambiance. We are truly delighted that our home provides the back drop for such a special occasion. Nothing like a fresh snowfall, the warmth of a crackling fireplace and being surrounded by the special people in our lives. See you next year!!
It only took one trip to Cooperstown to know that Lake Otsego was going to be the site for our ‘destination’ wedding. We rented four of the incredibly crafted homes, including, the Cayuga Lodge, which included our gorgeous “Honeymoon Suite” and two other heavenly bedrooms – Oneida Lodge, outfitted with four bedrooms, for our parents and siblings - the intimately located Treehouse, just across the lake, with five bedrooms - and the adjoining Bird's Nest with 2 bedrooms for our son and his friends. Cayuga and Oneida Lodge included a lakeside, heated swimming pool, which our families really enjoyed, even though it was late September – early October. All homes are directly on Lake Otsego with direct access to the lake and docks, in fact we rented a 16-person pontoon boat to allow our guests to easily commute between the homes, which added another layer of excitement to this memorable extended weekend wedding celebration. Remaining family members and guests stayed at the Otesaga Resort and Hotel, just ten minutes away, at the south end of the lake. All homes were spotlessly clean, immaculately maintained and well outfitted. Our family and friends were elated with their accommodations and remarkable vistas. From the amazing fall foliage and early morning fog rolling across the lake, to the lily pads glistening in the evening twilight and starlit skies, the views were ever changing, tranquil, and extraordinarily beautiful. Bill, the owner and builder of these spectacular homes, was more gracious and accommodating than you could ever expect, and was able to assist us in finding the best caterer, event, and boat rental companies in the area. He and property caretaker, Ken, took extra measures to ensure that the entire property was in pristine condition for the wedding, and beyond. If all of this wasn’t enough, Bill spontaneously arranged a private sailing of his vintage Chris Craft cruiser to secretly chauffer the Bride, our son and Maid of Honor to the ceremony, creating a most unique and unforgettable ‘walk down the aisle”. The reviews are in – neither our guests, nor we will ever forget our destination wedding in Cooperstown, NY. We will be forever grateful to Bill, with special thanks to Ken for making our stay a one-of-a-kind experience. We’ll be back, soon! Heide & Eric Phoenixville, PA
Owner Response
I am grateful to have had the opportunity to participate (albeit in a small manner) in your incredible wedding. It was fun and exciting to assist in planning some of the details and of course, it was a thrill to be able to chauffeur the Bride to her wedding in my Chris Craft. We look forward to seeing you again and perhaps celebrating your 1st anniversary together!
The pictures just can't give you the full beauty of this property. My love ones and friends had the pleasure of spending Thanksgiving at Cayuga and it's something we will remember all our lives. As luck would have it, it snowed that Thursday morning and we woke to 2" of powder across the whole property...it was magical to say the least. The views of the lake are fantastic and you could spend hours at the boathouse just watching the wind paint brush strokes across the surface of the lake. I also want to say that Bill(the owner) went out of his way to make our stay as wonderful as it could be. My hat is off to you buddy. Great job....and we look forward to staying there again very soon.
Owner Response
Winter getaways to our Cooperstown lodge provides guests with the opportunity to see the area without the regular seasonal crowds. The frozen lake, fresh snow, ice skating and cross country skiing are among our favorites. And then again, so is a warm fire, hot chocolate and a great book! Pack your boots and gloves and come on up...
I really must say that you have a wonderful house! The cabin blew everyone in my group away (as nice as the pictures are that you have posted, they simply do not do the property justice). I also think that it was a stroke of genius not to say anything about the elevator. Playing that fact so close to the vest made the cabin all the more impressive to us when we arrived. I am sure that I will try to rent the cabin for another weekend next year as the cabin/dealing with you has been a wonderful experience that I do not think can be topped. Thanks again for renting us the cabin!
Owner Response
During the planning stage of the project, it was deemed important to provide unfettered access to all floors of the home and to make entry to the home easy for everyone, regardless of their mobility. Wheelchair access has been designed and incorporated into the landscaping and the private elevator allows everyone to enjoy the ambiance of the 3 floors within the lodge. Our home is perfect for guests of all ages!
The house is gorgeous and better than advertised. We loved all of the fireplaces and the view from the decks. The attention to detail throughout the house is wonderful. Can't wait to go back.
This place was beautiful!! We often vacation at Four Seasons Resorts and this cabin lives up to the quality we experience at those resorts. Attention to detail is noticed throughout. We stayed there with 2 other couples and had such a nice weekend relaxing and enjoying Cooperstown. There was plenty of room for all of us, the views are beautiful, furniture comfy, kitchen fully stocked with whatever you might need if you want to cook. The owner gave us great restaurant recommendations, directions and suggestions on things to do. I hope to return again.
Owner Response
The Cooperstown area has many great options when it comes to dining...lakeside restaurants during the warmer months, bistros, cafes, Italian, Mexican, fancy and not so fancy... Or, like many of our guests...choose to dine in and put our chef's kitchen to good use! Even better, arrange for our personal chef to do the cooking for you! Call today and place your order!
Pictures of this cabin do not do justice. We went during autumn so the foliage just added to the beauty of it's surrounding. The cabin was amazing! The architecture is incredibly detail oriented and is rustic yet luxurious at the same time. Large beams across the ceilings, a polished tree that goes from the the first to the third floor in the stairwell, and amazing stone fire places are just a few of the Adirondack style details in this cabin. In addition, the appliances are top notch and the kitchen is well stocked with everythng you might need to prepare dinner - including a mixer! Bill Miller was extremely helpful and gave us excellent suggestions on places to eat and things to do. He was also available if the we had any problems with the cabin - but we never did. We made use of the boat house during our stay - another gorgeous building. The foosball table at the boathouse was a surprisingly huge hit with our daughters, ages 7 and 9 and the view from there (and our cabin) was fantastic. We also took kayaks out on the lake - included with the rental. We hope to get back there next year.
Owner Response
What a great place for a mini family vacation...The lodge offers a warm and inviting ambiance and The Boathouse provides the immediacy of being right AT the lake...actually, right OVER the lake! Autumn is a great time to visit the Cooperstown area...the baseball crowds have thinned out and the foliage provides a splash of color to the surrounding hillsides. Check out all of our great CooperstownLuxury retreats and plan your family vacation today! Bill M. (Owner)
My husband and I stayed in Cayuga Lodge with our best friends last week. Everything was perfect in every way, from the great craftsmanship throughout the home, to all-new appliances, Wi-Fi, Cable TV, and fireplaces everywhere. And what a gorgeous view to the lake. Owner Bill Miller knows everything about how to maintain this perfect property. He should, since he designed and built it. And, he couldn't be nicer to work with and know.
Owner Response
One aspect of owning and managing our vacation retreats that we really love is the opportunity to meet great people and forge new friendships. Our goal is for our guests to have the best time possible while visiting Cooperstown and staying in one of our lodges. Often this includes getting to know our guests to be able to offer recommendations based on our knowledge of the local area. Over the years we had the pleasure of meeting so many wonderful families and consider it an honor to be in a position to assist them with their vacation planning.
We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful lakefront condo. We couldn't have asked for a better location. The craftsmanship of the home is second to none. If you are looking for a relaxing setting with top notch accommodations then this is the place for you.
Owner Response
We truly appreciate the recognition of the tedious craftsmanship invested in our homes. It is the myriad components...hand-hammered copper stove hoods, sanded and polished natural trees, branches and twigs, custom designed furniture, artistically applied details, signature bathroom pedestal sinks, etc., which combined create environments that are so special many guests consider the lodges to be destinations unto themselves. Come see Cooperstown and experience a stay in a magical home!
Seven of us stayed a week in this luxury home while my oldest son attended a baseball tournament nearby. The property was very clean and the amenities in great shape. The lake was beautiful and we enjoyed kayaking across and around it. The kids loved the heated pool which was regularly cleaned. We went fishing from the boardwalk around the boathouse. The owner also provided useful information leading up to our stay. We only needed to bring our clothes and food. Plenty of towels and a washer and dryer means we'll pack lighter next time. An elevator makes it possible to have an elderly person. It is hard to do justice to the quality construction of the home with the large logs and wide plank floors. A remarkable and beautiful place to stay. The unit we rented had three bedrooms and three baths. It could sleep three couples easily. We brought an air mattress for my youngest to use in the upstairs seating area. There was plenty of room in the house. We used the remote controlled fireplace one evening and it made the living room toasty. There were four other fireplaces (one wood and three other gas). The kitchen was also high end (Wolf gas stove and Sub Zero freezer). A counter with second sink accommodated multiple cooks. Looked like a lot of nice restaurants nearby (Blue Mingo), but we like to cook and ate in every night but one. We went to Schneider's Bakery in Cooperstown several times for breakfast to have the excellent cinnamon rolls. I look forward to staying here again and recommend highly.
Owner Response
We love when guests are pleasantly surprised upon arrival! Our lake front homes are unlike any others in the area. They were designed by a leading architectural firm with a flair toward the unusual such as the 42 foot tall trees. Handcrafted in British Columbia from massive Douglas fir and cedar trees, trucked to Cooperstown and painstakingly finished, incorporating numerous artistic touches and finishes; each home has a unique ambiance created through various collections of handmade furniture, folk art and decorations. Its not unusual to hear guests say they changed their itinerary upon arrival to allow for more time to enjoy the homes and the properties!
This log house is a real gem in this area! Gorgeous settings both inside and out, close enough to town (Cooperstown) but far enough away to enjoy the countryside. Spacious and comfortable. Bill (the owner) is evry friendly and easy to work with. We highly recommend staying here for all!
Owner Response
Cayuga Lodge South is located on the west side of Lake Otsego. The beautiful drive into Cooperstown is about 7 miles along the edge of the lake. Guests can easily and quickly access the conveniences of town, yet enjoy the lake-country ambiance while at the home. Our lake has very little boat traffic, and at the north end where our home is located there is even less! Its not unusual, even during the height of the "busy" summer season, to see just one or two boats out on the water...often leaving the lake perfectly calm and flat for kayaking or canoeing!!
My family really enjoyed the week. We have been to the area before and I cannot think of a better place to stay when visiting Cooperstown!!
Owner Response
Our lake front homes provide families and groups with a vacation experience that is hard to find in the Cooperstown area. The heated lake beside the lake, The Boathouse (clubhouse), lush grounds and handcrafted lodges all combine to evoke the sense of staying at a family compound. Quiet, luxurious and conveniently located less than 7 miles from town.
Bill, Your condo is amazing! There is nothing like watching baseball at Dreams Park and then coming back to your condo for the amazing views. The craftsmanship is second to none. I will be back next year to enjoy this hidden gem.
Owner Response
We are thrilled when guests choose to vacation at one our retreats for a second, third, even a fourth time! Our goal is to provide a special experience; a lakefront resort-style getaway. There is no better indicator that we have hit the mark than guests coming back again! See you soon! Bill
Thanks Bill! We had such a great time at your home on the lake...It really was neat to see the kids run down to fish at the lake and leave the electronics behind! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Cooperstown. I will be certain to recommend your home for future friends heading out that way...We all hope to make another trip out there-the kids are already asking when we are going back! Thanks again!!
Owner Response
I can vividly recall spending many incredible days on the lake as a kid myself! Somehow, it didn't matter what the activity was...fishing with a simple fishing pole and a worm, exploring the marine life hiding beneath the rocks such as crayfish, or even just skipping stones...as long as I was in or near the lake I was a happy "camper"!!
We were beyond impressed by the luxurious homes. The maintenance of these properties is impeccable. The home itself is beyond what one can imagine! Well stocked kitchen appliances, utensils, high end appliances, overall luxury in every room! I took so many pictures & videos to share with others. Truly worth it! We loved kayaking and the boathouse! :)

We built and furnished our lodges with the intention of providing guests with very special experiences. A nice collection of folk art sprinkled through the home along with an array of unique, vintage items and handmade pieces of furniture combine to create a really comfortable ambiance. Summer, Fall or Winter, our homes help guests relax and rejuvenate!
We had an amazing week. Really nice space, nice finishes, nice development. House was clean, well maintained and Bill is extremely responsive. Great lake views and great lake access. House is about 7 minutes north of downtown Cooperstown and about 20 minutes from Dreams Park. Would gladly recommend this house for anybody looking for an upgraded place to stay around Cooperstown.
Owner Response
Our homes are located on the west side of Otsego Lake...close enough to town for convenience, yet a world apart from the ordinary! The North end of the lake is the very quiet end of a quiet lake! Our lake has very few boats on it, even during the height of summer. Limited boat launch access and relatively few lakeside homes helps keep traffic to a minimum...this makes Otsego Lake a great family boating lake. Boats can be rented from a couple of locations and they make for an exceptional way to explore our lake...even for beginner boaters!
What a beautiful, serene place to spend a long vacation weekend with family! The craftsmanship of the condo is outstanding, the decor is breathtaking and the views are spectacular. Everyone we met on the grounds went out of their way to be helpful. It's close to the Farmer's Museum, a treat for families, and the Otesaga Inn, with great golfing and dining facilities. Highly recommended as a great vacation spot!
This pristine rental property is the absolute most ideal paradise escape for friends and families. Located on the northern end of the lake the property sits flush against the crystal blue lake. The heated pool over looking the lake is the best place for relaxation in the sun. I can't imagine a better location for any sort of reunion that you may have!!
What a beautiful home! My family and I enjoyed our time here. The Miller's are excellent "hosts" and they were very generous to share their vacation home with us. My son loves Cooperstown, so he was in "double heaven" with the beauty of the home and the closeness to Cooperstown! The sunrise on the lake was spectacular. I would greatly recommend this property to anyone who may be interested!
This was our second stay at Cayuga Lodge and it was just as wonderful as the first time! The decor and architecture of this condo are breath-taking and really made us want to just stay and enjoy it all three days that we were there. Of course, having snow falling outside helped us to want to curl up in front of one of the five fireplaces and just watch the snow fall. It is the perfect spot for relaxing both during the day and at night with the many different sitting areas throughout the condo. We found the property to be clean and well-maintained. The owner was always prompt in answering e-mails and taking care of our concerns. We have definitely recommended this condo to friends and may even have a family wedding here one day. As far as the area is concerned, we have been coming to Cooperstown for many years and have stayed in a variety of different spots around Lake Otsega, but none compares to Cayuga Lodge. If you are looking for a good place to eat, we would recommend the new restuarant that has taken over the old TJ restaurant location on Main Street. It is called Batters Up and has very good food for breakfast.
What a wonderful experience it was. The pictures are just s tiny glimpse into the beauty that Bill created when he hand crafted his "Log Home Mansion". We cant wait to stay there again in May. OH, and we are planning on coming back in June as well. Cant get enough of that magical place. Jordan Rosenberg
The view was amazing! The property was clean and inviting. Our family had very relaxing weekend, thank you Bill!

This home provides really great spaces for families to reconnect! The main level with its wide open floor plan allows multi-generational interaction around the huge redwood dining table, in the great room with its expansive, comfy leather furniture or in the kitchen as the master chef of the family prepares a feast!!
Not much to say about this place other than its amazing! The most luxurious log cabin you will probably ever stay at. Never mind the fact that it was 10 degrees out. Fireplaces on every floor alleviate that issue! If you're looking to unwind with some friends, cook a great meal, and just relax...well, stop looking!
We initially tried to rent another place from Bill, but that place was closed over winter. Instead he offered this place, Cayuga lodge, just off of Route 80, which goes up the west side of Otsego lake, which was perhaps even better! It is a proper, Americana-style, log-built lodge; it is huge (3200 sq-ft), with wonderful views over Otsego lake, and lies between Springfield and Cooperstown. The property had been well prepared for our arrival: all snow (it was over the New York 2013 snow-storm weekend) having been cleared from paths and driveways; was spotlessly clean; the heating was on; and a fire had already been prepared for our arrival - a large quantify of firewood was piled up by the front door; the fire-pace was absolutely wonderful - I permanently occupied the chaise longue next to it! The lodge was well kitted out with everything you could possibly want, the kitchen being particularly well equipped. Generally, the lodge strikes a good balance between a "home" decor and a more professional decor, i.e not cluttered yet homely. The views out of the balconies were wonderful, over looking a frozen lake Otsego. Any traffic on Route 80, which in winter is probably less busy than in summer, was completely un-noticed. Overall, a we had a wonderful time and would heartily recommend to anyone.

Always great to have visitors from other countries stay at our homes...we love the different perspectives. While the home is very large with tall cathedral ceilings, the decorations and furnishings have been selected to provide a warm and inviting ambiance. Very glad you enjoyed!!
We were extremely fortunate enough to spend our Christmas at this wonderful chalet. It was also during our first winter storm of the year. The entire property is breathtaking, with fantastic views of the lake and the geese. The staff were extremely helpful with any concerns we had. There are gas fireplaces in every room, but we really enjoyed the wood fireplace the most on the main level. The architecture, artwork and overall layout of this chalet was just beyond words. The worst part of the trip was leaving. Bill, the owner, responded to all of our questions and concerns in a timely manner. By the way, the best reception for wi-fi is on the third floor in the room with the two black leather chairs. We also made great use out of the I Home to listen to Christmas music. It's quite evident that Bill truly cares about his visitors...looking forward to returning soon. JKZM & JPG
I love to travel and I do a lot of research before booking any holiday. I have to say the Cayuga Lodge at Arrowhead Pointe did not disappoint me. The lodge is set on a hill on a beautiful piece of property that slopes down to the lake. There are great views from almost every room. The logs give the structure a warm, inviting feeling, especially during the fall season when the leaves were all in bloom. Every place you look, you see craftsman like details, from the babbling brook waterfall upon entering the unit, to the hand made brass oven hood. There is a sweeping staircase that spans all three floors, and wraps around what looks to be a 40 foot tree!.. and if you don't want to use the stairs, there is even an elevator. Kitchen appliances were top notch, the beds were comfortable, and the decorating was beautiful. It was a bit chilly outside, so the radiant heat floors were a real treat. There was even a wood burning fire place which the owner had set up for us. A customized book, with our name printed on the cover, was left on the counter. It detailed everything to do in the area. There was also a platter of home made cookies. The property has a pool and a boat house, right on the lake. Cooperstown is beautiful. I like to walk, and I was charmed by the beauty of both the town and the surrounding area. I am definitely booking again this summer.

Initially, most of our rental activity was during the warm summer months when the lake can be fully appreciated. More and more people are now escaping their hectic lives to spend a few nights in this really special environment. Close to all of the Cooperstown attractions, our lodge provides a warm and comfortable space in which to gather with family and friends. The ambiance of the log and beams, combined with the warmth of the radiant floors and wood fireplace is irresistible! We look forward to your return visit!
Thank you so much for letting us stay at Cayuga Lodge this past weekend! My friends and I arrived on Friday in the rain, but it soon cleared and the entire weekend was beautiful with wonderful fall foliage and beautiful view of the lake from the lodge! We all needed a break and thanks to you we had a really fun time away... we did a lot in a few days - went shopping downtown and to Ommegang brewery, walked in Glimmerglass State Park, went to Fly Creek Cider Mill, and went on the Cooperstown Ghost Tour. We will be back!
When we walked in the door, it was obvious that this was a special place. We could not stop admiring the architecture and the lovely lake views from the property. We spent a lot of time just sitting on the lakeside dock admiring the beautiful lake and sunset. We hope to plan a return trip sometime in the future when we are ready for another relaxing getaway.
The first reaction pulling into to the parking lot is WOW it's 50 feet from the highway and certainly not lakefront, should be listed as Lake Access. This is evident from the top floor master suite as you listen to cars passing at night and early morning from your bed. The condo is beautiful and is wonderfully appointed on the inside, the outdoor decks are littered with cheap plastic chairs that are not very sturdy to anyone over 150 lbs. The condo is approximately 1/4 of a mile, down very steep gravel and slate pathways, to the boathouse and shore of the lake. It is slippery at best and poorly lit after dark, one of our first purchases was a flashlight to assist in the journey as the solar powered path lights are not the best. If you are not agile or have trouble with stairs this is not the place for you. The pictures on the listing that show waterfront are ALL from the boathouse, the picture that is titled "Take in the views from one of the decks over-hanging the water " is from the boathouse NOT the condo. The checkout listing states that you are to sweep and vacuum the floors, having rented property across the country I believe this to be in very poor taste for any rental property. Again, in fairness, let me be clear; the condo is beautiful and has everything you need. The issue is you are not on the lakefront and to get to the boathouse and dock is a challenge for anyone with mild ambulatory issues.

Unlike most lakes in the South, which are shallow and located primarily on flat land, Otsego Lake was formed during the Ice Age by glacial activity, it is deep (providing for a desirable "cold-water fishery") and surrounded by hills/mountains, which is a common trait to the lakes in the Northeast. It is this mountain-lake environment that provides the beautiful backdrop to our lake front property, ArrowHead Pointe. The Otsego Lake Association was organized to protect this invaluable resource and has established strict building set-backs to help protect the water. Our home is located three hundred feet from the edge of the water with dramatic views of the lake from all 3 floors of the home. During construction and landscaping, we incorporated features such as private elevators, discretely placed wheelchair access paths to the front doors of the homes and beautiful bluestone patios, walks and steps, and waterfalls and streams throughout the property. In addition to the home, guests also have access to, and use of The Boathouse, our clubhouse at the edge of the water which is shared by the 5 homes at AHP. The Boathouse provides entertainment space, 3 fireplaces and bathroom facilities adjacent to the heated pool. We are conveniently positioned on West Lake Road (Rt 80) which is a 40 mph road; 6 miles from Cooperstown, and the property is entirely located on the lake side of the street making access to the water safe and convenient. A boat dock is available for you to dock your own boat or a rental can be ready and waiting. Otsego Lake is pristine and provides for a wide range of fishing and water activities such as canoeing and kayaking, sailing, swimming, etc. It is uncrowded and family oriented. Please take a moment and read the reviews from prior guests to get a balanced and reasonable representation of our wonderful lakefront property! And as always, please contact us with any questions you might have.
Hi Bill, Just wanted to let you know that we all had an absolutely wonderful time! As I told you, this was a Christmas present to my parents. They did not want to leave! My father was making jokes as we were leaving about "sneaking" back in after the cleaning people were done. The details in the house are amazing. Every time one of us turned around, we would notice and comment on something else. We loved reading about the house. We gave my parents the bedroom upstairs and the elevator was perfect for my mom. Everything was perfect! Thank you for all your help and answers to my questions. You certainly went out of your way to make our stay perfect. We cannot wait to come back. Mary & Don

Lots of families are choosing to celebrate special occasions at special places! And we are fortunate that many guests are choosing our lake front homes as their destination of choice. The ability to experience grand spaces and to prepare and consume meals together in really unique and cool places is something that can't be done with a couple of hotel rooms. Each of our homes provides large, comfy gathering spaces along with warm, private bedrooms for privacy. Bring your family, bring your friends...
We held our small wedding at Arrowhead Pointe and our experience was off the charts amazing! Our wedding weekend was exactly how we envisioned it and we've received so much positive feedback from our friends' and family about hosting them on the property. Everyone is already asking us to do our 5 year anniversary there as a reunion! We couldn't have asked for better weather or a more magnificent venue.
We would highly recommend this rental for a Cooperstown area stay. Rustic feel to a luxury property. Great lakefront location. Plenty of blankets, pillows - they put some thought into anticipating what their guests may need. We liked it so much that we have already booked a whole week in the fall! We are looking forward to returning to this great property!
My wife and I were looking for place to relax while in town to visit the Baseball Hall Of Fame and this Cabin was perfect! Well taken care of, clean and stocked with everything we needed. Being in the off-season I was pleased to find the grill was clean and ready to use. This home was amazing. Everywhere you looked you could see how much attention was paid to detail and quality. The owners were quick to respond to any questions we had. The Rental Agreement and Payment process was all on-line, quick and efficient. Can't wait to go back!!!
We cannot say enough about this home and its owners. The house is unbelievable - cozy and felt like home with fantastic views of the lake. The house is totally private and has every necessity you could need or want. With 5 fireplaces and a huge custom kitchen its hard to even leave the home. The home's owners were accomidating in every way. It was a pleasure renting from them. Anytime I had a questions they were very easy to get in touch with and they went above and beyond for us. The house was in a pristine clean condition and very well maintained. There was even wood in the fireplace so all we had to do was strike a match! We look forward to visiting the Cooperstown area again in the summer and we are definately not staying anywhere else but here! I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a high end quality getaway.
My family was in Cooperstown for a baseball tournament for my son last week. We were fortunate enough to find the PERFECT home to rent for our stay. It was more than we expected. Every detail of the home was exceptional. The craftsmanship and detail in the house was extraordinary. When we arrived we went from room to room amazed at how wonderfully designed the home was. The lake was beautiful and the boat house...AMAZING. The kids loved kayaking on the lake and relaxing in the pool. I have never gone on vacation and felt so relaxed and "at home". I am hoping to bring my family back for another stay. The owner was a pleasure to deal with and very helpful giving us information about places to see and things to do. I am keeping the welcome packet as a souvenir, nicely done! I would highly recommend staying at Arrow Head Point.

When people envision spending vacation time near a lake, they often dream about relaxing and entertaining in a beautifully decorated and interestingly furnished lakefront log home. Our lodge delivers on a grand scale! ArrowHead Pointe was designed by an architect who is well-steeped in North Country conventions. Here, on this lake front property he imagined combining elements often found in lodges in the western and northwestern parts of the country (such as large flared cedar support posts, pine planked ceilings, and wide reclaimed circular sawn flooring) with more modern features (such as wide, view-enhancing expanses of glass and 3-story sweeping staircases wrapping around 40 foot tall trees) to create his unique "Lake Country" architecture. Fill this dramatic space with a collection of Native American and authentic folk art, vintage, antique and hand crafted one-of-a-kind items and you have...magic! A vacation suddenly becomes an unexpected experience that will be remembered for a lifetime. Don't settle for a "vacation home"...come to Cooperstown and experience ArrowHead Pointe on Otsego Lake!
The home was lovely. A few things were missing upon arrival but we had prompt service and quick responses to get us the required items. Bill is very easy to work with while renting this home. This home is very grand and has magnificant surroundings. A little dissapointed at how cold the pool was. Overall it was a lovely home and a great place to go for enjoying nature. Thanks for letting us share in your wonderful home. Heidi Friend

Our staff is committed to helping guests enjoy there stay at AHP and we respond as quickly as possible to do so. As a vacation destination, we get visitors from many different locations and climates. We maintain the swimming pool at 78 degrees F. during the summer season. This temperature seems acceptable to most people...cool enough to be refreshing on hot days and warm enough to be inviting on cooler days.
We rented to home for the weekend while getting married at the Otesaga in Cooperstown. This was our way of thanking our attendants and we put them up for the weekend. Such a beautiful home and very inviting. Wonderful views, great photos while covered in snow. Did not get to enjoy the lake or pool due to middle of winter but we do not feel we missed out. Each evening we would sit around by the fire place and tell stories from the past. Could not think of a more memorable way to start off our married life than gathered with those we love and sharing memories. There is no way a hotel or B&B could have compared to the atmosphere and ambiance that ArrowHead Pointe had to offer. We have made many of our friends and family fans of the area and of AHP. Looking to come back in the summer to enjoy the home again. Thank you for a wonderful time!
The stay at Arrowhead Point was truly an amazing experience, one not to be missed. The best of both worlds, baseball and the lake. Thank you Bill & Liz for this enjoyable stay at your luxury log home, what memories...
We came to Cooperstown to watch my grandaughter play baseball at Dreams Park and if that wasn't exciting enough, we found this beautiful accommadation! This place is awesome, from the setting, the beautiful landscaping, the furnishings, and this beautifully crafted log home. The lake and the pool were a big hit with the kids. It is a home that is a must experience if you come to this area. The owner and staff couldn't be more accommadating and helpful. The place is immaculate and even more beautiful in person. I would definately stay here again. If you are someone who likes the ultimate in vacation homes rent this!!
Our family was really looking forward to our visit to Arrowpointe and Cooperstown as we had never vacationed in this area before - and we were not disappointed! What a beautiful residence nestled in a rustic setting, with scenic views of Lake Ostega. We enjoyed all of the personal and unique touches, you can certainly feel the love that went into creating this special home. The lake was wonderful - kayaked, boated and fished everyday, nothing better than enjoying a glass of wine on the boathouse deck as the sun was setting. Would also recommend for golfers - enjoyed both courses close to the house. Would love to return in the fall to see the change in season!
My family fell in love with Arrow Head Pointe. The home alone was fabulous. The detail of every little thing was amazing. We were back and forth between the ball fields and the house and i could of stayed there forever. It was quiet, relaxing and comfortable. The detail in the decoration from the house to the boathouse was beautiful. I could of lived in the boathouse too. We loved the pool and kayaking in the lake. I highly recommend AHP and will be back in a couple years when my last one will travel to cooperstown to play baseball. Thanks again for making us feel at home. You have done a wonderful job on AHP.
I have never written such a glowing review of any property that our family has stayed as the Arrow Pointe Lodge in Cooperstown. We stayed a week at this property while our boys played terrific baseball at the Dreamspark in Cooperstown. While we thoroughly enjoyed watching the kids play ball, we looked forward to every bit of down time at this most luxerious home away from home. Everything about the home, the surroundings, the pool and the views are incredibly detailed and just spectacular. Rooms are very large and allow for multiple family comfort. Direct access to the lake was such a welcomed part of the trip. The property is very well maintained with all of our needs thought of. The pictures that were available on-line capture the properties beauty but actually pale in comparison to the feeling of standing on one of several balconies and looking at this beautiful home and gorgeous views. A full service gourmet kitchen allowed us to cook and eat comfortably. The living and dining space provide certain opportunity for fun and time with all our family and friends. The tree that bounds from the bottom floor through the staircase up to the master suite was the conversation piece of our stay. The kids loved, loved, loved the elevator (yes, an elevator!). Bathrooms are uniquely appointed and large. Many pictures were taken of the home to bring back with us to help describe the architecturally stunning property along with the most interesting approach to aethetics and interior decorating. I can't say enough positive and encouraging words to describe our stay at this very special home. It will not disappoint. Be prepared for interruption in service for your cell phone (AT & T) and limited on-line service. But, after a day, not being tethered to the phone and laptop proved to be as much of a gift as the surroundings we were enjoying. What a great place to spend quality time with family and friends. We would love to return, any time, any season and would highly recommend this property to my family and friends! Thank you, Bill Miller!!
Our family loved this vacation! The accommodations were wonderful and the lake was too. Our grown children liked using the kayaks the most. We would recommend going to the covered bridge across the lake. We appreciated the directions to this on the welcome letter at the condo. Cooperstown was like stepping back in time! We loved walking around downtown and seeing the beautiful houses. Fishing was great from our rented pontoon. We used a local fishing guide and it was very helpful in learning the lake for fishing the rest of the week. The people working on the grounds were very friendly and helpful. Great place to stay!
We travelled to this beautiful home as part of a baseball trip, and the relaxing and luxurious nature of Arrowpointe really complimented our trip. We loved the kitchen and dining space, and found ourselves actually looking forward to cooking dinner and dining in...rather than eating out. That was a shocker! The bedrooms were fabulous and every night was a great sleep. The kids loved the pool and exploring the dock and the lake. Overall, we couldn't have asked for anything more! We'll be back next year!
We stayed at this beautiful condo during a getaway weekend to Cooperstown. Words can not express how beautiful this home is. Every detail is taken into account right down to the FORKS! Thanks again for sharing your dream home with us for the weekend! I recommend AHP to anyone visiting the Cooperstown area!

Dan, thanks for your positive comments and for recognizing and appreciating the myriad details...hope to see you again in the future!
This stylish, elegant and cozy house felt like home. And not only because of the 3 fireplaces but also because of the atmosphere. The lake is beautiful and great for kayaking (thankfully the kayaks are provided by the owner). Cooperstown is lovely with several nice restaurants.
We were looking for a quiet, serene, and scenic place to spend Christmas this year and we thought of AHP. It turned out to be better than we had hoped. It was the epitome of warm and cozy with fireplaces in just about every room. The snow fall outside the windows was like something from a movie scene. We entertained family on Christmas day and everyone agreed that it was one of the more memorable holidays we have had together. Family members came from Albany, Utica, New Jersey and we were there from California. What a prefect gathering place for all of us. We can't wait to go back!
Words cannot express the astounding beauty, elegance and serenity this home radiates. You have taken mother natures blessing, an artists eye and your vision to create a one of a kind monument to be enjoyed for generations to come. Congratulations on this breathtaking achievement! You just completed the vision of our dream.

We are truly pleased to hear you had a great time! The home has so many details both in the post and beam construction, as well as the collection of furniture and art that it takes quite some time to fully appreciate. Many thousands of hours by true craftsmen went into the crafting of this lodge and we are delighted that you so enjoyed your experience...come back soon! Bill and Liz
We truly enjoyed our stay at the beautiful lodge at ArrowHead Pointe this winter. From the majestic views of Lake Otsego to the inspired beauty of the lodge itself, the property is one not to be missed. The cozy fireplaces (there are 5) set the scene as we arrived. With snow falling and dropping temperatures we surely appreciated the beautiful heated wood floors. While each designer appointed room made us feel right at home. The architecture of the lodge takes you miles away from the ordinary. Trees rise from the first floor through the third floor master level, while the circular staircase wraps gracefully around them. The home is nature and hand craftsmanship at it's best. The perfectly appointed kitchen boasts top of the line appliances that have been fully integrated with the hand crafted cabinetry. Coooperstown really is "America's most perfect village", but now has the most perfect place to enjoy it in ArrowHead Pointe.
